Speaking as a chef here is what my $16 muffin would include; The “muffin” would have to be more like a subtle cheese pop-over, after it was baked I would fill it with Baluga caviar, cream fresh, capers, very thinly sliced red onions.

There’s a Costco less than five miles away. 12 muffins for under $8.00; and they are very tasty.
With all the federal government buildings in DC, they couldn't host any of these conferences on federal property? Sheesh, if they just cut the bloat and fraud they could probably eliminate the deficit and pay down the debt in no time.
and to think that the average waiter can only dream of making $16.00hr with this Obama Recession!
