"Wow, that was one meandering reply by Perry."

He's channeling Fred Dalton Thompson!

You may not like either Perry or Romney, but you are facilitating a Romney win.

Go figure.

Looks like the circular firing squad is out in force again tonight. Bash, bash, bash away at each other.

Newt seems like the only guy who realizes Obama is the true enemy.

Governor Perry has an irritating monotone. That would kill him in debates against Obama. I had not realized that before. First time I noticed it. He ought to work on that.

Perry is embarassing himself....we need someone who can debate Obama....

Yep that’s what worries me and why I toy with the idea of Newt, though Cain could if he could get more traction. Cain wouldn’t sound quite as articulate, though. People might miss Cain’s message, contrasting to Obama’s smooth talking.

I think she is a beautiful woman - but I am not for those drawn on eyebrows on any woman. I guess it is becoming a 'trend', but I guess I'm more for the natural look - not the 'drawn on' look.

BTW - is it just me - or do Megyn Kelly's lips look different the past few days?

Perry absolutely stinks as a debater. Obama would make mincemeat out of him.

“prohibits states from providing a postsecondary education benefit to an alien not lawfully present in the United States on the basis of residence unless any U.S. citizen or national is eligible for the same benefit.”

All US citizens are eligible for in-state tuition in TX if they have lived in the state for 3 years. In fact, US citizens only have to have lived there for 1 year.

Unfortunately it seems like the only consistent conservatives are getting precious few questions. I’m less and less impressed with Perry or Romney.

And they are still illegal. Rewarding criminal activity gets more of it.

Understood. But what do you do with those kids? Do you expect them to drive their happy butts back to where their parents came from?

It's easy to criticize, isn't it? Hard to solve.

Because Perry is George Bush on education and sees these kids lying around as people you educate rather than deport.

“I’m sorry, folks; I just could not take another 4-years of George Bush....I mean Rick Perry. “

So if Gov Perry gets the nomination, you will stay home? So you could take another 4 years of the obamessiah?

We will never get a 100% candidate

Aside from that, IQ, once you reach a certain level, is not as important as smarts and common sense.

Smarts, common sense...and character!

If you can't trust a president to make life and death, peace and war, decisions...I don't care how damn intelligent and educated they are.

Character...and trust...should be the first consideration.

The importance of education as a presidential qualifier is non-existent. We've seen what the Ivy Leaguers can do the country, right?
