I’m a sports fanatic, and watch all major sports, except soccer. Baseball is, however, my favorite. Unfortunately for me, the Reds do soooo much better when I don’t watch. As with most things in life, apparently, I’m a curse to my beloved Reds. LOL I even picked another team for a while. . .needless to say, the Braves haven’t fared so well since.
An aside -
As a young child of 5 or 6, I wrote Marge Schott every single year begging to be a bat girl; and offering to do whatever tasks I could do for the honor. I had the priveledge of meeting Ms. Schott shortly before her death, at a fundraiser for George W. Bush. We all “donated” to meet Barbara Bush, but I spent the entire time talking to Ms. Schott. Her reputation and the perception about her in the media couldn’t be more wrong. She was a lovely lady and she was actually a pretty solid conservative.
Hoping Rush picks up on the Governor Perdue comments yesterday on postponing elections!!! This woman needs to thrown out of office or impeached immediately, IMHO!!! The lamestream media is avoiding this story, big time!!!
