Bachmann had also given her “end the madness” statement and Wallace had denied Perry rebuttal to her and to Romney’s false statistics.
Here’s the transcript, if people want to read it.

I like his statement than having an obstacle with out observation is not the way to go.
The “heartless” comment was no “gaffe.”
It was the most deliberate, passionate, and enthusiastic statement he made all night.
And it derailed his campaign.
The phony “apology” is every bit as insulting as calling us racists and heartless.
“...could care less about the true immigration issue<<
Oh, you mean people don’t care about:
Illegals taking our jobs
Illegals draining our resources
Illegals bringing in disease
Illegals filling our emergency rooms
Illegals closing our hospitals
Illegals changing our culture and failing to assimilate
Illegals skewing the electorate to vote Democrat from now till doomsday
Terrorists crossing our border
Gangs crossing our border
Drug dealers crossing our border
The Mexican army crossing our border
etc. etc. etc.
What a fascinating wonderland must exist between your ears!
>>I guess he felt he had to apologize...wish he hadnt.<<
So do you agree with Perry that we are heartless?
Start at the 2:40 mark.
>> He was visibly annoyed by the two smarmy weasels Wallace and Romney.
Indeed.
Perry should avoid the detailed defense of his positions. He should dismiss the bait, and focus on the big targets. I wouldn’t mind if he also ignored Romney for the rest of the campaign.
The word I wish Perry had used was “Brainless”
>>The word I wish Perry had used was Brainless<<
Ah, so you think those of us who oppose in-state tuition for children of illegals are heartless AND “brainless.”
Thanks for outing yourself as to who you are and what you believe, for all of FReeperdom to see.
Nicely done.
;-)
You are welcome.
Bon Voyage! hahahahaha
I'm amazed by those who claim to be insulted, but I shouldn't be. I guess it has something to do with the influence of the liberal agenda in our schools and media. Speech codes, politically correct language, hate speech, it's all liberal manipulation meant to stifle free expression, and it's apparently working. Thankfully there are still Americans who are made of stronger stuff than members of the easily insulted generation.
I happen to know that is a flat out lie.
When one is The Lord's as Perry is then he is The Lord's responsibility not yours.
IF Perry needs correction he'll be corrected.
But you sir with your written words have condemn yourself.
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged:
condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
I forgive you for condemning me. I forgive you for judging me. John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, If Perry were to reach into his own pocket Seek the face of YHvH in His WORD. I forgive you for calling me a liar.
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
Proverbs 31:9 Open your mouth, judge righteously,
A ruler who steals from taxpayers to give the money to criminal aliens
And defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.
but judge with righteous judgment."
both steals and seeks to do good deeds with other people's money.
and provide scholarships with his own money,
he would be lauded.
Ah, Dane! Haven’t heard from him in a while. Maybe he’s back from handing out maps and bottled water on our southern border.
Defending Perry by claiming people are supporting Romney reeks of desperation. It's as bad as the old Ron Paul supporters that claimed if you weren't supporting Paul you were supporting the new world order. Live with the fact that there are *GASP* people who might like candidates other than Perry or Romney. I know, it's shocking, right!First of all I'm not defending Perry. Nothing in my post is a defense of Perry, but rather a criticism of the covert Romney supporters here in FR who you claim don't exist.
I do lean towards Perry, yes, though I am seriously looking at Cain, but that's not the point.
What I'm TALKING about here are the many, many posters (a large clique of them) who don't ever post FOR a candidate but go on EVERY Perry thread and attack relentlessly.
I see through them.
They are Romney supporters.
And they are winning.
Romney is up in Florida and FR is doing its small part to make that happen.
Be proud, fellow Romneyites, you are tearing down good people to install your Liberal Mormon Idol and even the conservatives here in FR aren't wise to your ways.
You are getting away with it!
“. . . don’t dare try to say . . . ????” Good grief!
As I said, I have witnessed first hand Perry’s pro-life and pro-family, pro-Declaration of Independence conservativism and his understanding of those issues. This is why I believe he’s conservative and pro-life.
I’ll say what Perry said, that Giuliani promised to only appoint strict constructionist judges and to follow the Hyde and Dickey amendments. I’ll also say that this was one of the disagreements I had with the Governor, but it was not a deal breaker, because I appreciated that he took care of the life issues first - and to acknowledge how basic they were.
(I didn’t get behind McCain as soon as Perry did - I was one of those “none of the above” FredHeads, then for “non of the above” Keyes. Still not really behind McCain after he was the nominee because of the rumors that he might appoint a pro-choice woman. Still wouldn’t wear his t-shirt or put his bumper sticker on my car until the day he named Palin as his running mate.)
This time, I’m not a “none of the above” voter, not since August 13, 2011.
