Gays HAVE been serving in the Military since the Country was Founded. Who or what you have sex with should not be an Issue,that is Why dont ask dont tell worked. Heterosexuals dont go around Bragging that they have sex with the opposite sex,it has NOTHING to do with your job.So Just stfu about it.
The Republicans could be reaping the benefits of this just as we did when gay marriaged was imposed by the Massachusetts judiciary. Debates should be dispassionate, not another excuse for people to pretend they`re at a game sshow. If you can`t be an adult and shut up for the time it takes for a debate, to allow the issues to be put out there and so the candidates can express positions [like Santorum`s] that make our points rationally, then stay home. Those bigmouthed boors were the best campaigners Obama could ask for.

I served in both the USAF and the US Army... If the military was as screwed up then because of queers as it is now, I would never have gone in. Not only do I have to watch my back in the shower (pun intended), but also out on the battlefield. Just being in the same unit out on the field would cause distraction because I wouldn’t feel comfortable.. which can mean the difference between life and death.

For me it’s simple.
As a young man it’s hard enough to be in the barracks in cramped quarters with other young men. Then when I was stationed on a ship I found out that the barracks were nice and roomy compared to having thirty guys stuck in a living space the size of my living room.
Now imagine that same space with both homo-sexuals and heterosexual guys. You have introduced blasting caps and dynamite together. The chances for an explosion have just increased exponentially.
I could go further but I won’t. It’s obvious that Obama not only doesn’t give a rip about the men and women under his command he actively loathes them.
The other issue is disease. "Gays" have STDs at a rate 40 times that of the normal population. We have enough trouble with the military medical system as it is, without adding that problem.
Now that Obama has pushed "gays" into the open, next we have "gay marriage" being forced into the service as well - with the added fun of assigning base housing, spousal benefits, etc. We also have the next tier of perverts demanding their addition - transexuals, etc.
Now, are supposed to be a fighting force or a massive social and sexual experiment?

They make piss poor infantryman. My experience was that most are little fairies that are not efficient soldiers. When they are promoted to leadership position, that is when they really shine as finicky little bitch like decision-makers. They lose credibility and eventually self destruct as overall soldiers.

Contemplate possible favoritism, a la females on the “Love Boat” in the first Gulf War, by a “pink Mafia” regarding promotions and cushy jobs.
Think about the creation of a new “protected species” in the military. You know Orwell’s “some animals are more equal than others”.
Apply all of the above to discipline, unit cohesion and accomplishment of mission. The military is NOT a social science laboratory.
With the elimination of DADT, do you think the atmosphere in a barracks will become more or less sexually charged?
