It seems the public's interest in Sarah Palin has reached an all-time low.

The latest film to put the potential presidential candidate in the spotlight has bombed at the box office.

......

With Palin, the darling of the Tea Party, still deciding if she will try for the Republican Party nomination the lack of interest from the viewing public could finally persuade her not to run.

Nice try, Daily Mail. The truth is, people don't care to see a hatchet job on Sarah Palin. Heck, they can see that 24-7 on TV.

For all I know the “film” is an attack on Palin.

Dishonest article-—no one wanted to go see this hatchet job on Sarah. Period.

So a Hit-piece film on Sarah Palin means she has low support and nobody cares for her?

“public’s interest in Sarah Palin has reached an all-time low.”

Yet these people, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, noticed enough to mention it.

“For all I know the “film” is an attack on Palin.”

That's what it is. I never even heard of it until searching the locals theaters for a movie to watch this weekend and spotted it advertised. It was clear that it was like others here are saying a hatchet job.

Isn’t “You Betcha” just some low budget, Nick Broomfield anti-Palin screed that is only showing at the Toronto Film Festival?

Why would an attack on Palin flopping be a bad sign for Palin? Why would Palin make her decision to run or not based on an attack film?

It’s all bogus journolister crap.

Do these people read what they write before it gets published?

I think I read a line in an article a few months ago about a hatchet job on Palin coming from the commie libs in film form. This must be it.

The Undefeated was a huge success? Here are some numbers from opening:

July 29-31: $5,200 in 4 theatres.

July 22-24: $24,664 in 14 theatres.

July 15-17: $65,132 in 10 theatres.

You can see the clear pattern here. The film opened solidly, at $6,513/theatre. Consequently, its distributor expanded it to new markets and 14 theatres.

But the film actually did substantially worse when it expanded, as ticket sales dropped 62%, and the film went from $6,500/theatre to just $1,762 theatre.

Last weekend, the distributor pared things down and ran the film in only four theatres, which should have raised its per theatre average, even while reducing ticket sales.

Again - I like Palin, but people should speak from a position grounded in reality.

Still furious at Fox for their sandbag job on Sarah yesterday late morning. Liz Trotta had a hit piece that included repeating McGuiness’ gossip and then someone tweeted in the old charge that Todd and Sarah snorted cocaine at a snow machine race several years ago saying “everyone did it.” Not professional by Fox at all and leads credence that they are trying to dump her as a correspondent whether she gets in the race or not.

Sarah Palin - You Betcha!

Fox News sent a clear message to Sarah Palin yesterday morning with that hit piece that they don’t want her there anymore. Fox News hasn’t been on her side in a while now, they prove it everyday, by not covering her speeches, etc..they are rooting for Romney and Perry..I think the main reason why Palin won’t announce yet is because she wants out of her contract on Fox, once she is not stuck at Fox News anymore she will declare.
