Four in 10 Americans “strongly” disapprove of how President Obama is handling job as president in the new Washington Post-ABC News poll, the highest that number has risen during his time in office and a sign of the hardening opposition to him as he seeks a second term.

While the topline numbers are troubling enough, dig deeper into them and the news gets no better for Obama. Forty-three percent of independents — a group the president spent the better part of the last year courting — strongly disapprove of the job he is doing. Forty seven percent of people 65 years of age and older — reliable voters in any election — strongly disapprove of how he is doing his job.

In a mid-January Post-ABC survey, 28 percent strongly disapproved of the job Obama was doing.

Up 12 points since the beginning of the year. It's probably a lot worse, but their probable oversampling is covering the real numbers.

If the current President were conservative, the poll would be front page news on the WaPo. Instead, they have President Obama Goes On The Attack, To Democrats’ Delight as their lead story on the website.

More than a vehicle is needed to make it all work. Someone needs to drive it and no one in DC is willing. So, you need to come to peace w/ the fact Barry is going to have a full term. That said, its hard to understand why Congress esp the republicans aren’t taking a severe beating for this. Perhaps the electorate just isnt up for the work itll take? At any rate Barry is only the tip of the iceberg, The Symptom. I blame the electorate first and foremost.

I am a realist, but I hold out the slimmest of hopes that SOMEONE will uphold their Constitutional oath and remove the usurper. Even one day could be instrumental in saving The Republic, but more importantly, branding him as a usurper and removing him would retro-actively nullify all of his actions.

Hussein’s biggest lovers of Hussein, besides his urban base, are the academics and the media.

Network and local tv broadcast/cable news shows routinely ignore any bad news about Hussein, and amplify ANYTHING that lauds his cabal.
