New York (CNN) -- As the Occupy Wall Street protesters rally for a third week, social media sites such as Twitter seem to be spurring similar protests in other cities.
A Twitter account called Occupy Boston mentions a citywide college walkout there Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Nurses Association says hundreds of the city's nurses will rally with the Occupy Boston protesters on Wednesday. The association says the protest will be part of the opening day activities for a national nursing convention in Boston.

That sort of global fluidity of labor completely destroys any power a union could possibly muster. Like the Communications Workers of America really want some Guatamalans running up the telephone poles for 8 bucks an hour.
They're as dumb as the hippies.
The obama / Hoffa army
all, just your average Americans demanding free college, free healthcare, $20 an hour minimum wage, an end to corporate America, seizure of the asets of the rich, and the re-election of obama, right?
Well Marx said it would work that way so I guess it is worth a try.
Workers of the World, Unite. LOL.
Besides that, this social chaos is happening on Obomas watch. He can't blame Bush or Republicans for this. All their demands are communist. Republicans (an TEA Party members) are Capitalists.
This class warfare, i.e., communist "uprising", belongs to Oboma alone. In 2012, he's going to have to answer for it.
It better not turn violent now that the union thugs are showing up. A lot of those young kids down there for the party could get hurt. They just want to play. They're not there to hurt other people. They just want another Woodstock..... "Like, party on, man!"
Do any of these people really think that they will influence “middle America” or the “silent majority”, as Nixon described it?
The hippies and anti-war protesters of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s inspired revulsion in much of middle America. Though there was a debate to be had about our involvement in Vietnam, the protesters did not endear anyone to their cause.
It’s hard to see these latter day hippie radical types doing any better at inspiring middle America to the cause of radical change and being liberal. If anything, these protesters might actually hurt Obama’s re-election chances, if people associate this rag tag bunch with Obama.
Thanks for posting that. This has helped me make informed buying decisions. If at ALL possible, I will avoid any firm employing any of these unions. Obviously, that means Comcast has been cancelled, effective immediately. MARTA is still okay to ride, because the TWU hates MARTA. I already refuse to buy any American made car on the chance it will enrich the UAW. I’m buying another Honda Accord soon.
Make it happen, folks.
New York Police Officer arrested by the FBI this morning on human rights violations, details to follow
The Unions were given too much power. America is about to become very bloody and the Unions will lose. Lock and load for your own protection. These thugs are dumb as a box of rocks and with an IQ of probably 10. They will destroy themselves and are too stupid to even see that.
Do these people even know what they are protesting? I don’t. I think they’re all idiots.
Compared to the Tea Party rallies, these are pathetically small in numbers. The only thing big is the MSM press coverage. Hell, we could scare up several hundred Tea Party members to demonstrate against a local politician and it was barely mentioned, if at all. This “movement” is pure Astroturf. There is no there there.
People are going to increasingly equate all bad things with Obama. To the average voter who is paying attention, it will look the wheels are coming off. These nuts DO NOT gain sympathy when they make more than the average American and WE PAY THEM, and they are complaining. It won’t sit well.
Here's a pic of the "hard hat riot" of 1970. Back then at least some of the unions recognized the hippie weirdos for what they were - Commie ne'er do wells.
It appears that era is past.
Erick Holder.
I think the officer will be released. This is an anti-police scare tactic by the communist left.
IF the union thug brown shirts push it, the police will be the ones saving the city for the normal people who live there. That officer will be vindicated.
REMEMBER, Oboma owns this. He's a community agitator. Remind the good people you know of this (especially if you're into face booking or tweeting).
