Nine Reasons Why Republicans Ought to Nominate Herman Cain

By Aaron Goldstein on 10.4.11 @ 6:08AM

As a mathematician he would teach the incumbent a thing or two about "simple math."

Let us assume that the field bidding to be the Republican standard bearer in 2012 will not expand. Let us assume also that neither New Jersey Governor Chris Christie nor Sarah Palin will throw their hat into the ring. Let us further assume that neither Mike Huckabee nor Paul Ryan is having second thoughts. In which case, Mitt Romney is still the frontrunner. Yet conservatives appear no more prepared to embrace him now than they were in 2008. Rick Perry hasn't proved a viable alternative and Michele Bachmann's fifteen minutes is up. Over the past week or so, with straw poll triumphs in Florida and Illinois, Herman Cain has begun to strike the right chord with Republican voters and has seen his poll numbers rise. So here are nine reasons why Republicans should nominate Herman Cain for President.

1. He Has No Sense of Entitlement Cain wasn't born into a life of privilege. Yet he bore no resentment because of it. He believed in the American Dream yet understood he had to work hard for it. Cain set goals for himself and made sure he had the education necessary to attain them. He found opportunities and seized them. Cain grew up with the knowledge that the world doesn't owe one a living. He has earned his place in the world.

Lopez is an idiot that I can’t bear to watch. I believe he lost his show on TBS so he must too much free time on his hands. I don’t think these Leftists are going to stop Herman Cain. They’re showing too much of a pattern too, with the way they attacked Clarence Thomas.

An attack from Lopez could be more helpful than hurtful. I doubt that even Reverand Jackson would approve of Lopez calling Mr. Cain an Oreo. Who does he think he is? Morgan Freeman not a problem, but George Racist Lopez... I don’t think so.

You know, sooner or later-if you call yourself a comedian-you’re gonna have to be funny. Lopez just isn’t funny. Offensive doesn’t equal funny.

Seriously, these idiots are likely to reveal to the public this election cycle which side of the aisle harbors the true racists in this country. Maybe this type of thing will un”brainwash” the 2/3rds that Mr. Cain doesn’t think he can reach. After watching the way he handled the women on The View today I believe anything is possible. No other Republican candidate could have handled those women as well. Mr. Cain was amazing!

Master politician? Are you trolling? Shouldn’t there be a “sarcasm” following that sentence?

I think it could be said in a technical sense that Slick was a master politician. No one lies, cheats and obfuscates better than that dude. As far as a leader, he was a slimy toad. I will always remember that clip of him leaving the Ron Brown funeral where he was laughing and playing grab ass with another guy until he noticed the TV cameras and on went the water works and frown.

Some would describe Obama as a “master politician”. I am amazed by how easily individuals affix the term “master” to people who haven’t rightly earned that title.

If anyone believes that a “master” politician is one who is able to lie and cheat his way through office, than both Obama and Clinton deserve such recognition.

I prefer to call such politicians Master Charlatans.

Since Palin is out maybe we better take a serious look at Bachman, Santorum in addition to Cain. All of them are fiscal conservatives, and against amnesty for illegals, and aren’t global warming fools. Bachman even mentioned closing down some departments. I would like nothing better than to see dept. of ed, and dept. of energy shut down.

Quite honestly Mr. President, your calculations are incorrect. In the competitive marketplace, it simply doesn’t work that way.

Obama is a master of nothing. If it were not for the invention of the teleprompter and a full staff of handlers, he would be a total stuttering idiot.

Politician: pol·i·ti·cian
Noun:

1 A person who is professionally involved in politics.

2 A person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement.

I have a low regard for “Politicians”. To be a master of that in my book isn’t really ideal. More of an insult. Leadership and principles are far more important in my elected officials.

“Never underestimate the level of vile attacks the Left will resort to.”

By the time the 2012 election rolls around, they will be accusing Cain of dragging black men behind his car with chains or some such nonsense.

HERMAN CAIN is the BAZARRO version of OBAMA

In the Bizarro world of “Htrae” (”Earth” spelled backwards), society is ruled by the Bizarro Code which states “Us do opposite of all Earthly things! Us hate beauty! Us love ugliness! Is big crime to make anything perfect on Bizarro World!”. In one episode, for example, a salesman is doing a brisk trade selling Bizarro bonds: “Guaranteed to lose money for you”. Later, the mayor appoints Bizarro No. 1 to investigate a crime, “Because you are stupider than the entire Bizarro police force put together”. This is intended and taken as a great compliment.

Originally a normal planet, it is now a cube-shaped planet since Superman when convicted of doing something perfect on the Bizarro Code Htrae, pointed out that Bizarro World was perfectly planet shaped and agreed to cube it if his sentence was commuted.

I could go for a Cain/Bachmann ticket.

Do you agree with Bachmann that America suffers from excessive "employment"? That was her latest gaffe, and in a campaign video no less. No thanks.

I must say that I strongly dislike the “Cain is Able” motto. The story of Cain and his brother, Able, involves the very first murder in human history. Cain murders Able.

This is not a motto you want to adopt as a campaign slogan.
