You lose that bet.
BTTT.
Why don't you come down here and learn what all you know... that simply ain't so.
Don’t bait. I answered your questions and said why.
OK, Marla Mapes.
And I'm no Perry booster. I just don't like bullsh** tactics like yours, making a claim and then telling others to look it up instead of providing your own proof. That is as lame as it gets.
Christie has other problems besides his coolness to 2A but when push comes to shove I think he'd pick the right judges and I don't think oppose new fed firearms rules. If he actually entered the campaign we'd get a better understanding of this, but since he didn't it is moot.
Perrys enthusiastic support of a Transnational Corridor through the heart of Texas (requiring the lavish use of emminent domain resulting in the seizure of private property)
Is not different than what Eisenhower did to give us the Interstate Highway system. We are better off for it.
Both are exactly what I would expect of a socialist like Hillary Clinton.
Hillary would never have commuted a sentence of a guy railroaded on a gun charge like Christie did, nor would she ever cut off $$ to Planned Parenthood as both Christie and Perry did.
Nor would she try to get her state out of stupid energy cap requirements as both did; nor would she support nukes as both do, nor would she oppose 0care as both do.
If you are going to equate Christie or Perry with Hillary you are going to start sounding real silly.
“If you are going to equate Christie or Perry with Hillary you are going to start sounding real silly.”
Taking my statements out of context isn’t silly; it is dishonest. You sound like a Democrat.
[Perry’s enthusiastic support of a Transnational Corridor through the heart of Texas] “Is not different than what Eisenhower did to give us the Interstate Highway system. We are better off for it.”
Neither Christie nor Perry are conservative Republicans. You’ve just outed yourself as a Democratic Party operative.
Exactly.I apologize. I misunderstood what you meant about the Founders in post #178. We do agree on that point. :)
Whether a person has extensive experience in government, or not, shouldn't be the ultimate criteria in an election.
Me -- If you are going to equate Christie or Perry with Hillary you are going to start sounding real silly.
You -- You sound like a Democrat. . . .youve just outed yourself as a Democratic Party operative.
You are sounding real silly.
So many of our little Republicans are always “moving to the right.” Trouble is, they never seem to stay there for long. Exception: Jesse Helms. He should have run for president in 1988 but would have been creamed.
“OK, Marla Mapes.
And I’m no Perry booster. I just don’t like bullsh** tactics like yours, making a claim and then telling others to look it up instead of providing your own proof. That is as lame as it gets.”
Tactics? I need to prove my own testimony? Like it or don’t like it, it’s up to you. Seriously, I won’t feel bad if you don’t like it—that’s your perogative.
“You lose that bet.”
And most importantly, Perry will lose the nomination.
Your testimony don't mean jack. If Perry said it in a speech, it's linkable. So prove your claim or go get stuffed.
Your posts are always so good and so full of facts. Thanks for all the hard work you do in the face of some idiots who just can’t understand plain English, it seems. I totally support Rick Perry now.
I can’t get through this whole thread; I’m too tired. But no, you’re not “missing” anything. Neither am I.
Yeah, I know .... gotta change my tag line. I’ll think of one. *sigh*
Hymietown was used by Jessie Jackson in referring to New York City.
So... your point?
Actually, JFK said he was a creme-filled pastry, not a sausage.
I don’t see how Perry’s support of the TTC is any different than Eisenhower’s support for the national interstate highway system.
Both build highways and invoke emminent domain to make it happen.
On the up side, though, Perry’s TTC would be built and maintained by private business... not government employees, thus getting a “bigger bang for the buck” and keeping down the size of government.
“Your testimony don’t mean jack. If Perry said it in a speech, it’s linkable. So prove your claim or go get stuffed.”
Why should I do your work for you? I’m not in a court of law. Do your own search, or don’t you know how?
It was used on me by a Texas freeper.
Now, I know everyone outside of New York thinks Jesse Jackson sorta made up that word. But he did not. It has been used by haters (black, white and indifferent) for many years. He just (apparently) popularized it.
