While the coining of the term "Occupiers" is cute, it is incomplete. The proper term should be "Occupiers of Parents' Basements."

For the upcoming election this is a huge problem for the dems because that´s the base they need to get out and so this might help the republicans.
But i think it is also a sign for the bigger political problems of the US. The extreme left and the extreme right gets more important while the moderate parts within the two parties have problems. So it will be harder and harder to find a compromise. But compromise is the key of the US system between and within the two parties.

This is all well and good and assumes our side will even market themselves as the job providers/creators.
Our side couldn’t even convince the WV crowd that the mine owners aren’t the problem, the EPA and Obama are...and they lost the state to a Democrat again. Unbelievably stupid.
Has anyone on our side (public office that is) created a YouTube video saying such things about the “protesters”? No, we just sit there and assume “our friends” in the MSM will somehow sort it out and the protesters will look like the problem. I don’t have such confidence.

No, people are inclined to believe banks cause everything and are greedy. Start creating a campaign to educate or this is a lost cause and we will be blamed. Naivete won’t win the day. Reality is silence = compliance. Our side House and Senate better not sit on their hands and our candidates, too!!! YouTube, Twitter are at their disposal.

“What success can this administration claim if the very people who catapulted them into office are demonstrating in the streets?”
They don’t have to claim any success but only have to blame Republicans for all the ills of the world since the Republicans have held the House for more than a year.
(And blaming Republicans always plays well with large swaths of the electorate.)

Wallace took more votes from Nixon, especially in the South.

Those of us Freepers who happen to be in NYC while this is going on could do a lot to erode the credibility of of the demonstrations by just going to Zucotti Park, politely, non-confrontationally, and encouragingly speaking to the demonstrators to get them to reveal their real thoughts, photographing and recording as much of that as possible and, especially, all the filth they have left and the total lack of sanitary facilities. Then, once enough really good, rank and gross recordings and pictures have been made, all of the best should be posted here on FR, YouTube, and wherever else they will do the most damage to the subhuman scum. In getting the pictures and recordings, remember: You always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

The hollywood crowd wants them to think they’re just like them, so that they won’t get “attacked”.

Well, this is just more of the same old protests that we saw in l968 at the Chicago convention. At that time, Mayor Daley (senior) was very tough on the people demonstrating. Bill Ayers was prominent in that demonstration. It’s just like the Watts riots, the Detroit riots, and even a small one in little Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We were there visiting the owner of a downtown hotel, and he sat on his front porch with a rifle across his knee waiting for the drunken protesters to come up to his place. I never did figure out what they were protesting.

NOPE
The so called Extreme Right are NOT EXTREME they want the constitution followed
And compromise with Marxists is absolutely the wrong tactic --mushiness never works
