According to Forbes, the Toronto Maple Leafs are the most valuable team in the NHL at $505 million. The US government just blew even more than the whold Maple Leaf team on a loan to one lousy company. Even if there was no illegality, the cavalier attitude toward taxpayer money is disgusting.

The sheer amount of money looted from the taxpayers by this administration is really astounding... I read somewhere that there were roughly 14 million unemployed in the US. Just from "porkulous" spending the government could have written 14,000,000 checks to every unemployed person in the US for... Wait for it... $57,000 each... Imagine, the unemployment problem in the US solved in one, fell swoop. But there's a problem... If the government were to do this, there would be no graft, no extra payments to "friends," no special gifts for special people, no bribes. No special friends who can siphon off thousands of dollars for every dollar that goes to the supposed target.

Of course, I'm completely against the government just giving tax payer money away like this, but this example shows just how corrupt this administration is.

We should all be a little worried that the Solyndra Scandal will be the LSM’s choice for Not Fast and Furious. F&F is criminal activity without a doubt. They will write off Solyndra to bureaucratic incompetence and the story will die. In the meantime ABC et al can claim they are covering the Obama scandals while the hope that their non-coverage of Fast and Furious will kill it as well.

We can’t let that happen.
