[vanity] I refuse to have Romney forced down my throat.
vanity | 12Oct11 | jagusafr

Does anybody else notice the HUGE push among the media elites (Rove, Krauthammer, et al) for Romney, now that Cain is showing powerful gains? I have to say, the more they say Romney's a foregone conclusion, the deeper my heels dig in against him. Not because he's a Mormon, but because he WANTS it too much - has been running since the last election, and I WON'T have "them" dictate who our nominee will be.

It shows that Fox News is run by liberals in suits. I have not even heard Cain speak yet, and this makes me like him more and more.

I wish I could buy the explanations, but plenty of people ran, and I don’t think the ones who stayed out were world beaters. Who knows, maybe you are right. I think the average voter, even the average republican, pays way less attention to this than we do.

Are you kidding? They’ve been pushing him since that last election!!! A LOSER to A LOSER! Yeah, that’s the ticket to success!

I’ve been saying it but I’ll say it again. I’m undecided so far on my candidate, but I will NOT vote for Romney, under any circumstances.

I would prefer to vote for Palin but I might settle for Cain. I will never vote for Romney.

"Anybody but Obama"

I have to disagree. for two reasons.

1. The people have to have a clear choice between a socialist and a conservative the only way to do that is to let the socialist party win if a socialist is nominated to what supposed to be the conservative party.

2. Obama is a complete idiot that has no idea what he is doing even know he hates this country he don't know how to destroy it. Others around him might but if they don't have control of both house and senate they will not do much damage if he was reelected (gag).

We can not let socialists run what should be the conservative party. We just can't do it.

You;ll have two choices in November 2012. If you sit it out you are voting for Obama.

Cain needs Money and also has to dump 999

Newt Smartest guy in the room.. needs Money (love him and would pay big dollars to be in the room while he sits and signs his Signature for 4 hours undoing everything that 0bama has shoved down our throats) then there his flippin and floppin and he is a Career Politician)

Perry has stage fright and would be demolished by the Press
(might make a decent VP ... pretty sure he could debate Biden)

Palin isn’t running

Marco Rubio isn’t running

John McCain is running ... under the pseudo of Mitt Romney he didn’t win last time and won’t win this time either

TT

I am a Christian conservative. I am a retired former business owner, N.R.A. member and former military and a conservative. I am proud of my country and that is how I am voting in the future.
IF someone shares my views I may vote for them if not,,,,Go fish.
Romney is a big gub mint rino kind of guy. I will not support him nor will I vote for him. I will not be forced by the republican big wigs to once again hold my nose and vote for crappola.

We have too many so-called “conservatives” running and splitting the vote for Romney.

I don’t if it has been widely distributed.

I agree with everything, except about timetables. He wasn’t saying there had to be a certain timetable. He was saying there should timetables to see progress. He didn’t say we had to leave Iraq at a certain point.

After the conservative Republican Revolution in 1994, the elite RINOs organized to change as many primaries as possible to be “open” primaries. That allowed Democrats and Independents to vote against conservative Republicans in the primaries, thus destroying the conservative grassroots organizing power.

Christy Todd Whitman formed the RLP to accomplish this and to also reduce the influence of traditional values Christians in the Republican Party.
