Members of our military are not allowed to defend themselves against this type of attack. They will face NJP for fighting back. This is where we come in. Our men and women in uniform are out and about taking out the worlds trash...we, as citizens, need to be ready and willing to take out this trash for them...I for one will stand tall in front of a judge for beating the crap out of a hippie that spits on our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines...

The little parasites would not have the cajones to try it to a Marine in uniform.
If I was in or our uniform, ONE of them would have gone down if they did it to me. The encounter would be something they would remember.

There is no reason an unarmed person should be sent into a situation where they might be assaulted by multiple criminal morons just so the USCG can say, “Look how tough we are, we let ten protesters beat up 1 enlisted guy with no significant combat training.”
This is an excellent example of discretion being the better part of valor.
