I believe every candidate running has voiced in the debates that their platform is to remove regulations on the natural energy industries to make America energy independent and create jobs.

Drill baby, drill isn't something new. Perry is putting a new spin on an issue that was introduced in the first 3 debates by all the candidates.

He's from an big energy state in the gulf. If anyone can get it done, it's Perry. I'm sure the unemployed in the gulf states will be on board with this plan. He's advocating everything conservatives on FR are always talking about. What's the problem? I wouldn't be surprised if he picks up a Palin endorsement running on this platform.

Energy has always been Perry’s forte, because there is a lot of different types in TX. Simply removing regulations is not a plan, which that is what the other candidates said. Give Perry some credit for a change.
