That’s all well and good but when I’m attacked in an open forum after stating an opinion, I will not stand down.

Anyway, I'm only objecting to the nasty personal attacks, not any opinion on the thread topic. I expect FR threads to be a lively exchange of opinions. Just look at JimRob's opening salvo -- that was plenty lively! You guys want to tear into each other over politics, have at. But tearing each other apart as human beings is unworthy of FR. IMO.
