My point is commie marxists are driven by fear, as you are. You’ll support anybody with an “R” next to their name because you’re scared of Obama. Fear blinds you, and causes you to lash out at anyone that doesn’t march to the Republican beat.

Hell yes! I'm scared of Obama. You are not? You want another 4 years of bailouts and takeovers...Obamacare...insane spending...homo military...Fast and Furious?

I'll support anybody with an "R" because history shows in 95 out of 100 times they're better than a rat.

I have already explained on this thread that I don't love RINOs but when faced with a choice( a likely choice) of Romney or Obama that choice is crystal clear.

A lot of Freepers spouted off in 2008 and said NO WAY Jose McQueeg!!! Then a bunch of them voted for the sunbeyoch, and the others let Obama win by voting 3rd Party or not voting so they could brag about principles.

What if Conservatives had the power to pick the GOP nominee?

Sun Tsu - It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.
I know the enemy...they're the rats. I don't know how weak the GOP is, even with Tea Party support. Losses by Hoffman NY-23, O'Donnell in CT, Angle in NV, and others leave me wondering how strong the GOP is with the voters. My vantage point from Wisconsin presented the loss of 2 GOP state senators recalled 2 months ago. They were fired for doing their job by the voters who put them in power 7 months earlier. I wish I could be all Rah Rah the GOP better do it my way like everybody else..

After rat President Truman served 2 terms, the GOP held the Presidency under Republican Eisenhower for 8 years, then 8 years under rats Kennedy and Johnson, then 8 Republican years under Nixon. Carter was exceptionally bad and only got 4 years but in 1984 the pattern continues with 8 years of Reagan/Bush, 8 years of Clinton, and 8 years of Bush 2.

After 8 years of Bush, it was a rat year and RINO McCain was likely our best candidate against the rats. Conservatives didn't pick a candidate. They just knew it couldn't be John McCain. "Any Body but McCain" they bellowed on this forum. They failed to unite behind one candidate before Super Tuesday. Christian conservatives voted for the Huckster. Foreign policy conservatives took Rudy. Sen Jim Demint endorsed Romney, and Fred Thompson got the economic conservatives. What has changed except the names? Trump, Bachman, Perry, now Cain is the flavor of the day? At this point in 2007 McCain was polling at 17%. Where is Romney at? What is the new conservative strategy? FUMR? FUGOP? Cut out the middleman and vote for Obama?

History says Romney will be the nominee and Obama will probably be reelected. If we wanna stop that we're gonna have to work smarter than 2008.
