“You do mean Hispanic, right?”

No, I meant Mexicans.

Hispanics are a larger group.

Perhaps a Prophet polls poorly in his own province.

How in the world is Perry not doing better there? Is this a credible polling outfit in TX? This disparagy makes me wonder.

A few months ago, this same polling group said Ron Paul was the leading candidate.

If this poll has any truth to it, Perry's campaign is virtually dead.

The PerryKrishnas will have exploding heads for days over this........

After listening to Paul for a couple of months, they realized he’s a nutcase.

Why is the Ron Paul Campaign Touting Suspicious Polling?
http://www.therightsphere.com/2011/08/why-is-the-ron-paul-campaign-touting-suspicious-polling/

What I found next would greatly suggest to me that Azimuth Research Group and Azimuth Polls exist to as a propaganda arm for Ron Paul, even if indirectly by his supporters. I am not sure how much Ron Paul knows about the poll in the blog he tweeted to his followers, but I found out some rather interesting information about them.

The domain azimuthpolls.com is registered to Dave Nalle of Austin, TX. But who is Dave Nalle? Dave Nalle is a Ron Paul supporter and is Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus, a group that promotes Libertarianism within the Republican Party.

"How in the world is Perry not doing better there? "

Because us Texans know Perry to be a RINO. Texas does well not because of any governor but because Texas legislatures only meet once ever two years for some 140 days. They can't screw up that bad in so little time. And the position of governor of Texas is actually a politically weak position. Our founding fathers make the governorship weak on purpose.

Exactly.

And precisely why he has managed to keep getting re-elected.

Texas ain’t giving its delegates to Romney, that is for sure.

18% for Perry in his own state is just lovely.

The PerryKrishnas will have exploding heads for days over this........

They're already citing every liberal source they can find in a vain attempt to resuscitate the Perry's train wreck of a campaign, be it the LA Times, NY Times, Politico, etc.

All that for a pro-ILLEGAL alien candidate? Makes one wonder where their allegiance lies.

yeah I read it the first time you posted it in this thread. This poll may be more accurate because Cain has been consistently leading the polls for a couple of weeks now. THINK THAT MIGHT HELP?

Perry entered the race high on the pedestal. Now too many holes in the amour at this point. Last night’s debate didn’t help either and he looked petty going after Myth like that. I was rooting for Perry but i think he’s toast—I say that with regrets.

Wow!!!! HAHAHA! Perry can’t even win Texas. He is toast. Glad to see Romney in single digits. Perry and Romney showed their immature RINO selves last night. They both should be ashamed of themselves. Cain is incredible. We are so lucky that he is running this year or we would really be screwed. Although Santorum and Bachmann would be fine nominees too.

Not to put a damper on things, but this is from July 15:

“Dave Nalle, whose polling firm, Azimuth, recently released a poll showing Congressman Ron Paul in front of Texas Governor Rick Perry by five points among Texas Republicans, admitted this week, “Maybe we got too many live responses from people who live in certain sections of the state. It wasn’t intentional, but it looks from the numbers that we caught a lot more people at home in the Houston area than we expected to, out of proportion with the rest of the state, and that includes the area that Paul represents.”

It is an interesting data point, but don’t get overly enthused by a poll of this type. If some other polls show similar, then we can party!
