The ideology which calls itself “islam” is attempting to destroy whatever freedoms Turkish people may have had at one time in that country. For a brief time in history, Turkey had become a nascent modern society, with beautiful tourist destinations, requesting membership in NATO, and, for all intents and purposes, a secular approach to government. If, however, the MB has its way, your friend will find herself in a misogynist Medieval, backward and violent society that frowns upon Sweet Women Who Like To Sing. My heart goes out to nice, normal people who find themselves suddenly thrust into such situations. It might be good to pray for your friend!
