Why President Obama and His Advisers Are Absolutely Convinced He Will Be Re-elected In 2012
FOXNews ^ | 10-28-11 | Douglas E. Schoen

President Obama and his team are quite optimistic they will win reelection in 2012, notwithstanding the bad poll numbers he is facing and the absolute collapse of confidence with Washington and indeed the American economy.

There are a number of reasons why the president and his advisers are so optimistic.

First, it is his judgment that with the horse race now tied for president, he has managed to weather the storm of a declining economy and declining confidence much better than he, or frankly most observers, would have expected.

(SNIP)

But what heartens the president's advisers is they believe they have locked into a strategy now that they are convinced can and will pay dividends.

First, they have largely given up on trying to work with Congress. With executive orders on housing and student loans, and a new slogan of "We can't wait!" the president and the Democrats are now arguing that gridlock in Washington is almost exclusively the Republicans' fault and that a "do nothing" Congress, whose rating fell as low as 9% in the most recent New York Times poll, and a Republican party whose negative rating is over 71%, will get the lion's share of the blame for inaction and dysfunctionality.

Second, the president looks at the Republican primary field and laughs, as he did on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno this week.

“As the entitlement class grows, so does Obama’s chances for reelection.”

Bingo.

And his strategy is unassailable- the media will deny it even exists. There is no counter-strategy to what doesn’t exist, no PR strategy anyway.

We The People must take over the Republican Party and determine WHO will be the best presidential nominee in the General Election in November, 2012.

We must not let the hacks tell US what to do. Tokyo Rove is just that..a hack. We've been telling Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, etc. what We The People want them to do..and they ignore us and play protect-their-ass politics..more hacks.

To all like-minded people who WANT a true conservative to win in the General Election of 2012, you must FIRST vote for a true conservative in the PRIMARY, so that we DO have a true conservative in the General Election in November, 2012.

We conservatives have the numbers, so let us unite, get off our arses and get this PRIMARY vote out for a true conservative. The PRIMARY IS THE TIME for us to choose the true conservative we will vote for in November 2012. Put away all your distractions, join forces with others and set the tone at the Primary. We The People CAN make the true conservative determination at the PRIMARY! Pass THIS on.

George Washington lost many a battle, until he won the war. Citizen by citizen, house by house, block by block, organize! and get the PRIMARY vote out for a TRUE CONSERVATIVE.

Have faith, friends...and again, put away all distractions and concentrate solely on the PRIMARY first, and then on the General Election in November, 2012. Fight like hell for the return of this country to the Constitution, life, liberty, FREEDOM!...for yourself, your family, for the country you love. God bless America.

Agree!

Have been saying the same thing in the past number of posts I have offered here.

Simply WAILING and FLAILING will guarantee that we get tired and discouraged, look like infants, and produce nothing good for our future.

It is past time to remember our republican form of government, and MAKE IT HAPPEN!

So because he went on Leno and cracked some jokes about the GOP contenders that means he a lock to own the White House?

Narcissism as a winning strategy for reelection.

“obama wasn’t running in 2010.”

Of course he was. Obama, the rat congress and the fascist legislation they passed were in the ballot. They all lost.

Of the current crop of candidates I think only Cain would move to end government support for the education establishment. Once you cut off the easy money and force colleges to compete they’ll go conservative and prices will drop. It’s only natural.

The liberal profs can only survive in a noncompetitive environment.

Instead of arguing about the best way to “bury” Obama, they are ripping each other to shreds to little end. They should be arguing tactics in correcting Obama’s mess.

I don't disagree with that at all. In fact, a savvy candidate would note that they could win the day by challenging their opponents on the matter of how best to deconstruct the Obama nightmare.

What’s a conservative to do?

If that ends up being the case, you vote for Romney and then you agitate like the OWS has done to demand he move on the things we want action on. We want simplified tax code e.g TEA party. Hold his feet to the fire and threaten to abandon him in 2016 if he doesn't step up. Right now he is woefully inadequate on issues that resonate with the people. He has not easy tax plan. He has no good jobs solution. He has no plans to lower deficits or cut spending or get government out of our lives in any meaningful way. If Romney is the nominee, hold your nose and vote for him and if he wins, never let him forget that you did.

IF Romney is the nominee Ron Paul goes 3rd party and the messiah is a shoe-in.

Forget Paul or the GOP. If this scenario plays out in one form or the other it is time for a REAL 3rd party that splits the GOP making IT the rump 3rd party and eventually it`s members join the democrat party.

THEN real change will happen when the democrats destroy the economy and the NEW REAL Classical Liberal party enjoys a super-majority to dismantle the socialist statist empire.

Ord.45, my Canadian FRiend, I am referring to Herman Cain. No one and nothing is perfect, but as it now stands, Cain is the most conservative, and someone who we conservatives can work with, and who will work with us, in my opinion.

Time will tell who the true conservative will be. The point is to vote for a true conservative in the Primary first, so we will have a true conservative to vote for in the General Election in November, 2012.

Why Obama will win:

Romney GOP nominee

Ron Paul as a third party nominee.

God save the Republic.

If Romney gets the nomination, it will not be myself that hates America - it will be the GOP. Because the difference between Obama and Romney is about 10 cents.

The media IS trying to make us believe that Herman Cain is in the lead. It falls right into their play plan. IF he is in the lead now, then, when he does not win, they can say, “We told you: The Republicans will NEVER run a black man.”

‘One stinker over another.’ Binary is not perfection, but it is adequate to the task. I much prefer it to the splintered coalitions that other countries have.

They have a point. Since 2006, I’ve been screaming for the GOP to retake the narrative and in 2008 for them to remind people that we tried to stop the housing bubble and reform Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. The failure of conservatives and libertarians to show the American people that our deep recession is failure of government and government colusssion and manipulation has also hurt us. The American people are angry and ignorant, which is a bad combination.
