680 AM "NEWS" in Toronto, Canada was reporting the sexual assault by Herman Cain in the 1990's (COMPLETELY UNSUBSTANTIATED ALLEGATIONS) as FACT. Apparently, 680 AM "NEWS" is Canada's ONLY 24 hour AM news radio station and is received over the air in parts of the Northern US and broadcasts over the Internet. 680 AM "NEWS" is presenting nonsense allegations like those Anita Hill claimed against Clarence Thomas and attempting to sink Herman Cain using the LEFTist whisper campaigns that destroyed Robert Bork's nomination.

There was a pretty big story here locally about an auto dealership owner - Ganley - accused of the same kind of nonsense and worse. Accusations just in time for his political campaign here in Ohio. Suddenly, charges gone; no trial; nothing. Of course, it ruined his chances and probably made him realize he was better off just staying a wealthy dealership owner. I agree with you. It just amazes me how these people come out of the woodwork when there is a big campaign. I would think that in a legal sense, “laches” would apply to many of these scenarios.

This is a hack job by either the Romney or Perry camp.

My bet is that it’s Karl Rove since he was the first one to scream that Herman Cain is done (oh does he wish it was so). Only Rove and Politio (which is a RINO site)trying to Torpedo Cain with no evidence.

Only if the women acted as sources for the story. The Politico story talks about sources but never says the women talked. There's a lot of "we confirmed with other sources" type language.

No offense but to be Politico and Karl Rove are RINOs.

The establishment fears Herman Cain and it's why they come up with Bogus stories with NOTHING other than oh someone said it, but we can't tell you who.

The only part of this that’s surprising is the timing. I’d have thought the Left would’ve waiting until closer to the primaries to let fly with this crap.

I'm not ready to conclude that the RAT left is behind this. I think a liberal Republican's campaign is far more likely to have dredged this up and taken it to Politico.

It will be interesting to see Juan Williams’ take on this. A couple of women at the Washington Post accused him of sexual harassment many years ago because he would compliment them on their clothes or appearance.

Apparently, some women prefer to be told that “You look like a dog but you have a good brain” than to hear “You look nice today.”
