This video needs to go viral. It's very tough to watch though.
I guess I’m in the minority but I don’t think the child was hurt at all. She cries loudly when she’s being hit but quits immediately when left alone.
That being said, 16 is far too old to be being spanked. The father doesn’t realize his cute little girl has become a teenager, goodness they can drive you crazy.
She must really hate the old man to post this on YouTube. Since this is four years old, I wonder what he’s done lately to piss her off?

First off, I thank God that wasn't my dad. Secondly, I'd run against that judge myself if I was in that district.
If that was my dad, I wouldn't be taking it. We'd either settle this like men, or if I was that scared, I would wait until a back is turned and have a game of baseball on his head.

What disturbs me is that she says the abuse 'continues to this day"? the man should be in jail = at the least, not allowed anywhere near his daughter.
The dad said several times to the girl, “you lie,cheat and steal” Sounds like he was fed up and was trying to get her attention but at 16YO you can’t kickem out even if you want to. Sounds like mom was on board also so it wasn’t one sided.Just what do you do with an out of control teenager? Talk nice? Make friends?Tell them how you understand and then the next day they steal from you??
I live just outside of Aransas County. Unfortunately, this idiot is a Republican. I know who he is and am just horrified by this sicko.

Yes, you are in the minority here. Listen to him when he was next to the bed. He was getting off on abusing her. He is a control freak which means he can not be allowed too be a judge.
She obviously expected this to take place with the camera set up. Which means it wasn't the first time he did this.

That was clearly felony child abuse by both parents. The man should be removed from office immediately and their State Court Admin office should review his sentencing. those parents should be incarserated in prison, or preferably interred.

True but anger will do that to a person when you have had enough. Just how do you get a teen to stop unwanted behaviour when everything else has failed. As a parent you to some extent are responsible for their actions. I wonder what websites she visited that made him and his wife so angry. Sounds like she was warned not to do it.

I had a sister that was as smarmy and defiant as the day is long. I watched her get it with a belt more than once in my life. She always came back stronger, with attitude to boot.
One day, my dad had enough.
Had a camera been on him that day, he would have been in jail too. Yet my siblings and I watched this bully get put in her place and loved it. God knows she beat on us more than once.
