BobL responds:
Dont answer me that way, pal. I had said that PERRY signed the (gay-friendly) Texas Hate Crime Bill.
Rather than defending Perry, you seem to have a problem with what he did. Watch out, or Ill tell Cincinnati on you, and shell whip you into shape.
We CANNOT allow Perry supporters to leave the reservation...because that makes them start to look like legitimate FReepers, rather than campaign staff (and it makes it tougher for me to label them).
So, Ill give you a chance to take back what you said.
Begin with: I support Perry signing the Hate Crime bill because...
Wow....what a tool. LOL
I completely missed the Bobs post LoL!
I don’t know much about this Hate crimes stuff, but I do know there was tremendous National pressure in 2001 when the stuff got passed.
The entire media was in a tiff about them Texans dragging James Bird to his death.
It is my personal opinion that we don’t need laws to micromanage the laws that exist.
The pricks that killed Mr Bird are murderers and worse.
Perry believes the same and he has taken aim at ridiculous legal action with the tort reform.
Right now it’s based on medical lawsuits, but it sets a legal precedence.
