Thanks. I heard that was a great interview. I’m looking for a link.

I enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, Hannity had Rove on immediately following to talk about how Cain hasn't handled this well.

Of course, Rove is very insistent that the only way to handle it is for the Association to release all documents relating to the investigation and the agreement, redacted of course. Rove is trying his dead level best to bury Herman Cain, that's apparent. Rove is not a stupid man, and his "only way to handle it" would be the most devastating thing I can imagine.

I've been an observer on more than one workplace complaints of sexual harassment. The one making a formal complaint can alledge whatever she pleases. I saw one where the complainant alleged that the subject of her allegation had sexually groped her in his office. Her written complaint was as intricately detailed as if you were reading XXX-rated porn fiction. Unfortunately for her, the subject of the complaint wasn't working on the day she said it happened, worked with others in a shared office where the door was never closed, had floor-length glass windows facing the reception desk, and multiple receptionists were always present without exception. Case closed. I do believe, though I'm not certain, she was given a month's severance pay and asked to leave.

Now, if, as Rove suggested, all the investigation documents were released, it would include the complainant's written statement detailing whatever it is she wished to claim, regardless of whether the claims turned out to be false or not. So, Rove wants that in the media so that the media can print, re-print, talk to death, analyze every single salacious detail of the complainant's statement of allegations, even if all of them were proven false.

And, of course, he wants the documents redacted to protect HER anonymity. We all know who the subject of the complaint is, but we should never know who the complainant was, right Rove? He makes me sick to my stomach.

If you find a link to Hannity's show today, definitely listen to Cain's interview, but skip Rove's unless you have a strong stomach.
