I almost hate to say it, but this SEAL actually listened, understood and applied the Law of Armed Conflict briefings his JAG gave him. That’s how it ought to work. Well said, and well done.

So is it possible that there was information in that compound that could have helped capture or kill the rest of the vermin in Al Qaeda, but because Barry wanted to brag about it, it rendered much of the information moot or tipped off the bad guys to change locations/plans/tactics?

If so, Obama is in a lot of trouble. Especially if we get hit again.

Lying about being a SEAL to get drinks or get laid is easy, lying about it when you’re a public figure like a book writer is very hard. People on the teams know who has been on the teams and they would scream bloody murder if a non-Seal wrote a book claiming to be one.
