Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain will hold a press conference in Scottsdale Tuesday in response to recent allegations of harassment.

According to a statement from the Cain campaign, Cain will hold to the conference at the Scottsdale Plaza at 3 pm.

*snip*

“I know what happened, and he knows what happened,” Bialek said on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight. “One of my whole objectives was to give him the opportunity to come forward, to redeem himself, say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry. I did this. It happened. And let’s move forward.’ And it is unfortunate. I’m very disappointed that he didn’t take the lead in this.”

She said in the interview that she was prepared for an expected media onslaught, but was more concerned about how it would affect her teenage son

But it’s starting to seem Cain might have a habit of being too nice to younger ladies while he’s married

Like you said... if true.

But I do agree... the proper approach is to be cold and businesslike in today's uber-sensitive and litigious America. Never compliment anyone individually on anything pertaining to appearance. Keep the conversations on business matters only... no small talk, no friendliness beyond the level of cordiality required to foster a professional environment. If subordinates think of you as pompous, too damned bad. It's far better to be depicted that way than to have the crap Cain is undergoing heaped on you.

And NEVER... EVER... be alone with a subordinate or potential subordinate of the opposite sex. That is nothing but an invitation to major trouble. Cain has said he had a policy of keeping the office door open and remaining visible to the outside office whenever a female entered, so these claims should be viewed with a great deal of skepticism. Keeping actions above and beyond reproach, IMO, is the best way.

I absolutely won’t believe this unless there is an alleged unnamed “eyewitness” who won’t come forward for fear of retaliation.

Come on folks this lynching can be stopped. Join me in seeing to it that Cain has another million dollar week.

Why do you believe any of this? There is no credible evidence any of this happened—or happened the way it’s being portrayed. Every day the original accuser’s story changes; and every day or so new anonymous accusers with no credibility are trotted out.

Do you not see the parallel to the Justice Thomas lynching?

Right, he is finished. Like the polls in IA say, or ABC or Rasmussen...get a grip and a clue. Let me guess, you are a Perrywinkle.

Hi campaign manager needs to micro manage this aspect of his campaign and prevent any further issues occuring......it is a sad state of affairs, but getting Mr Cain to the presidancy is more important.

3pm Mountain? No way, that should be bumped up to 12pm Mountain so he can get a [2pm ET] listen-in from Rush who can shape the conference afterwards.

3pmMT/5pmET is also too late to get the blowback in front of the MSM in time to file for the nightly news.

"Cain didn’t say that from the beginning. He first said there weren’t any, then that he couldn’t recall, then that, yes, there was one (there were two), but he’d never even thought of them since the 1990s when they happened (turns out he’d discussed them in his previous campaign in 2004 and also that Politico had contacted him a couple of weeks earlier asking for his comments before they published the story), and then he announced that it was all part of a conspiracy against him."

He flooded the zone. BFD.

Also, no one believed Bubba's denials. NO ONE.

Sorry, I am far from a Perrywinkle, I want nothing of him or RINO Mitt, but unlike those two, I would certainly vote Cain against Obama (especially if he gets rid of that stupid 9-9-9). If you look at it realistically you will one day realize that Cain has no chance in hell of getting the nomination and if he does he would have even less chance of beating Obama. We need a conservative who can WIN in '12 = right now none of them are running. I'm down to counting on the GOP coming to its senses and drafting someone decent in their convention.

Why don't you come to your senses, noob, and know your history -- the last time the GOP did anything remotely like drafting a nominee at their convention, they threw away Reagan and gave us Ford in '76.

I forgot to see him on Kimmel. I think he’s pretty funny (though not enough to watch his show regularly) but suspect he went after him.

As for the press conference, I think it’s a good idea. He needs to really go after this head-on instead of just deflecting. That should help it go away, especially if he can provide any details to really negate all the charges.

Cain ROCKED Kimmel. The man is awesome. Was funny but remained classy. It’s a way to reach a lot of voters.

Cain supporters and Clinton supporters say a lot of the same things.

Produce a dress with his DNA on it, or show us the scar on someone's lip and I'll feel bad about it.

One has had spurious allegations thrown at him (mainly by the press, just when he hit first place in the polls), the other had a number of named accusers, some with physical evidence disregarded by the press.

The differences are evident for those who wish to discern.

Billy Graham was one very smart man.

He's 93, iirc, and still pretty alert...

Herman Cain did wonderful on the Jimmy Kimmel show!!! Great audience acceptance and Jimmt Kimmel did the smart thing and treaded lightly while still getting Mr. Cain to hold his own, as any fair host would do. Kimmel realized what the left-wing media does not, an accused person is innocent until proven guilty!!! I noticed on Morning Joe this AM that both Joe and Mika, the brainless, were treading mighty lightly, hedging their bets!!! This, my friends, is going to be a very different political campaign this year. The Establishments of both political parties are either dying, or not being heeded by the American voter. If nothing else, this is will be an interesting, critcal “sea change” campaign for America. America either remains free or America sinks into “third world” status as dictator, POTUS Obama successfully destroys the country he dislikes so intensely!!!
