My sentiments exactly. Before reading your post, I tried to simulate what she described and it seems quite impossible to do. I think her (and Allred's) goal was to eliminate any perception that she may have somehow been the initiator.
NO!! Just think how many other politicians that have been caught in scandal have showed up at a press conference with their wives/families in tow, to confess their sins. The less he can do to have that side-by-side comparison, the better.

LOL...what exactly did Cain do to all of these women? We only have ONE woman going public and making a claim. All of the other claims are nebulous and annonymous.
So..what are we going to do when our next conservative candidate has a bunch of lies and smears launched their way? Don’t people realize that they will just do it to the next guy too? Where does it stop?
Once again I think this is a scam...and while this may not be a very smooth move I know it has happened in the past between other men and woman. And based on this woman’s history that’s probably how most of the guys come on to her...so to her it makes sense.
Amy Jacobson was fired after being filmed by Stebic neighbor having pool party in a bikini with craig stebic (the guy whos wife disappeared). she was trying to cover the story as a reporter but was also hanging out with him and their kids on her own time as friends.
Yes this woman is a “lying sorry excuse for a human being”. Just one look at her tells you what she is.
She is auditioning for Housewives of Chicago, and reminds me of the woman who crashed a White House State Dinner.

Just now getting to this thread...maybe this has been addressed in some post...
Other news is saying Cain doesn’t know this woman, Sharon...has no idea even who she is, much less is he guilty of what she claims.
Do I have this straight...this same woman supposedly came up to Cain at a tea party event and they hugged and chatted like they were personally acquainted?
Can someone explain this to me, as I came late to this thread, and what I’ve learned prior to this doesn’t make any sense to me.

LRocks, being from Chicago I have a huge amount of disgust for most all in the Chicago media. I’m shocked Amy is on record for this.
Hope she stays safe, lots of evil scum in Chicago who are not going to like her protecting an “R”. I’m sure plenty in her industry are hoping for her demise soon. She went off the reservation in a big way.

Even in small-market media, that's a big “no-no” and it got a lot of attention in the journalism world because she should have known better.
It was also a serious wake-up call to a lot of us in the media that our own actions are being monitored by the public. My recollection is this reporter got outed because a neighbor videotaped the reporter in her bikini and handed the videotape to a news crew from a competing television station. I'm going by memory so if I'm wrong, I apologize in advance — maybe somebody has a link.
It is impossible to avoid conflicts of interest outside large cities, but an attractive female reporter going over to a source's home in a bikini — even if she brought her kids — shows serious lack of judgment. This doesn't make things look very good on this story with the reporter's own history.
People know that reporters aren't monks or nuns (many are **VERY** far from that, especially in the television media where physical appearance is a job requirement) but personal behavior and views of a reporter are not irrelevant if they indicate and influence on how a story gets reported.
