The GOP establishment is not Cain’s biggest enemy.

Obama is the one behind these attacks. Bet on it.

While Obama is attacking Cain head on, he is also attacking the republican voter base by trying to blame establishment republicans... Very subtle but effective party bashing going on here.

Yeah... the GOP establishment want’s Romney.

But they DO NOT sink to the levels that Obama does to accomplish their objectives.

How is the GOP out of second chances? If you [we really because it includes me] do not get the candidate of your wishes, you still must decide whether you prefer Obama to whomever is the GOP nominee. That is the only choice one has.

Why do you begrudge others their choice in the GOP primaries. You sound like a my way or I am taking my ball home kid on a play ground.

“not in sickness, but in health” isn’t new, but many have forgotten about it.

Newt has escaped criticism because of rules against “punching down”. Now that Newt isn’t really “down” anymore, all of his adultery will be discussed where useful to other candidates.

“Yeah... the GOP establishment want’s Romney...”

ALL of DC wants Romney...trust me on this. Romney = Obama-whether he’s elected or not.

Anybody else is profoundly threatening of the status quo. We’re being set up for a Politburo Soviet style election with “approved” candidates only.

The real question is will the GOP survive Cain. There are a lot of grass roots very upset with the establishment GOP right now. I think it is 50-50 that the Tea Party goes independent.

The next few polls will tell the tale, until then it is the latest poll.

It’s all over and Cain wins? Who knew?

And you sound like a typical beltway groupie waiting at the dressing room door for your chance to service a star.

In case you aren’t bright enough to understand. That’s utter contempt for your kind.

Since none of them have come out and defended Cain in any substantive way, it seems that doing the honorable thing would be inconsistent.

The latest poll was taken from 10/27 - 11/7 and the values only add up to 70%. Obviously they didn’t poll leaners, which came directly off of Cain and Gingrich’s numbers. I don’t know that Cain has a 10 point lead, but the internals on Rasmussen are much stronger: one day sample (true snapshot), larger sample, a higher percentage of results (values add up to 89%). I don’t know the historical accuracy of Clemson’s polls, but it looks like garbage on the surface.

Someone needs to post this and the other poll with Cain +15 in Ohio and +10 in Iowa according to PPP. Then I can ping them.

Polls usually show a one week delay in regards to scandal or headlines. In a recent national match against Obama, Cain had a 4 point lead in the poll one month ago, but now trails Obama by 48% to 37%. So, it’s the general public that the GOP and Cain have to worry most about.

Clemson university? Yeah, nothing biased there...

I can’t see how Cain is +6 in FL and down in SC? Makes no sense to me whatsoever. Massive outlier.

Nonsense.

This far out polls vs Obama are meaningless. The only polls of any substance are the polls between the GOP candidates.

It is significant that Obama still can’t break 50 percent. That’s bad, bad news for him.
