How can you witness something like that and not step in to stop it? Unbelivable! Also unbelievable that Paterno did not fire Sandusky immediately and turn him in to the cops.

Could be a reaction to the State’s whistleblower law. You simply cannot fire someone under certain conditions. If he had any sense (not evidently in abundance), he would take himself off the field.

To me, the key question for McQueary is “Why didn’t you stop him?”

It's not a great cognitive feat to conclude: "I need to get a club and make him stop." Inconsistencies like this make you wonder how far and wide this really goes.

And why didn't this guy speak up? Both immediately and in the years after?
Is his excuse; “I told Paterno?”??
Sickening.

He should have intervened immediately and pulled the rapist off the 10 year old kid.
And he certainly should have spoken up when he saw this pervert continuing to work with with kids.

I’m surprised he’s not on a suicide watch, let alone coaching at the game.

Who cares about the law! Being human requires us all to protect children, yet this guy did nothing.

New info is that Sandusky was pimping out the boys to high dollar donors. Hence the coverup. Hence the DA disappearing. This is much, much bigger.

If any of that's true, it sounds like an episode of Law & Order...

A ten year old boy was being anally raped, when a big man stumbled upon the scene and reacted with horror.

"Oh thank God! I'm saved!" the boy must have thought, before the big strong man ran away, leaving the rapist there to finish the job on the boy.

This guy should do the world a favor and find a big strong limb to hang himself from.

Did the law at the time of the rape require this coach to report it to law enforcement ? (Not just the school)

Are you serious?

McQueary witnessed the rape of a child and did not attempt to stop it!!! Instead, he called his father for advice on what to do. The father, a friend of Sandusky, advised his son to go to Paterno. The cover-up began. In the process, this child, as well as many other children, will probably be scarred for life.

And you are worried about the letter of the law?

Let me ask you what you would do if you witnessed the raping of a child?

UNSTINKINBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!

Last night, I was given a bit of grief by a couple of child-rape enablers (Paterno supporters) when I suggested that PSU (the home of Queerfest, C*ntfest, the first all homo fraternity, and global-warming charlatan Michael Mann) be burned to the ground and bulldozed.

I apologize. I was wrong.

PEDO State University whould be burned to the ground, bulldozed, and then the soil should be salted.

NOTHING should ever grow from that Sodom ever again!

Damn right it’s much bigger. I think that along with whistleblower implications are why McQueary is still there. McQueary reported this to the higher ups and they did nothing. Betting he knows more and they don’t want him to squeal.

If he’s now considered a whislteblower he’s protected from being fired at least for now. How he shows his face in public is beyond me. He saw, he did nothing and now he goes on as if nothing happened? Yuk!

Once the homosexuals achieve the next big goal of lowering the age of consent to twelve years old, this type of coaching trauma will not distract the fans from focusing on the really important facts. Who will win? What will be the score? Will “Duwayne” play this Saturday? What are the odds that Penn State will win?

If SMU deserved the “Death Penalty” from the NCAA because of illegal money given by donors, Penn St.”s atrocity should forbid them from playing even one more game. Football should be banned except for intramural sports.

Plenty big enough to wipe the floor with that old dried up scum bag, yet, he chose to walk away from a rape in progress and left a young child in the hands of the rapist. And then calls his dad.

"Hello Dad, I just saw a rape being committed that I could have easily stopped and whisked the victim away to safety, but I simply walked away. What should I do?

And why the @#$% did his Dad not tell him to call the cops, find out who and where that boy was, etc. etc.?

Hard to fire someone that has already retired. Now calling the cops should have been a no brain-er.

I think the law of 7.62 will take effect then.
