Republican presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum participated in the Granite State Patriot’s Constitutional Conversation Thursday night, where the two were not short on criticism of President Obama’s interpretation of the constitution.

“What’s the biggest constitutional failing of the Obama administration?” the moderator asked Santorum. The crowd laughed as Santorum scratched his head for a moment with a perplexed look.

“This is going to be a much longer debate now,” Gingrich said.

“We’ll let Newt go first,” Santorum said.

Gingrich paused and said, “Not understanding which country he’s president of.”

My problem with newt is... he thinks government is still the answer... only he thinks that it just hasn't been done correctly yet... same argument the socialists use. Like Rush says... “The problem with newt... is newt”.

Newt hasn’t earned my vote yet, but I’d like to know how he is “sexually compromised”. If you’re referring to the “divorce papers on the death bed” meme, you should look into the facts. The fact is that Newt’s ex-wife served him 6-8 months prior to the “death bed” incident which, by the way, was anything but. Both his daugher and still living ex-wife have both confirmed this.

I do not “know” who the nominee will be... but I do know that the primary elections will be manipulated so that whomever the dims and the elite republican leadership want to be the nominee... will be the nominee. I no longer believe that we have truly free elections... the ruling class has bought and paid for them to get the results that they want. I hope I am wrong this year... but so far it appears that it is “business as usual”.

Oh yeah yeah, he has hornswaggled his daughter into supporting some cooked up story to make him look a a knight in shining armor.

The guy can’t keep his anatomy to himself. I don’t vote for adulterers even if the did come up with the “Contract with America” back in the day.

Besides issuing an executive order to get rid of the 30 plus czars appointed by Obommie the Commie...Newt would “Gingrich called for abolishing the Ninth Circuit Court, which he sees as part of an activist judiciary, abolishing all “czars” created by the Obama administration and ensuring no American money pays for abortion (the Constitution specifically gives Congress the power to “ordain and establish” lower courts).

You can dislike him and not vote for him for any reason you desire, but I think fact-based reasoning should play some part of that desision. Frankly, I’m more concerned with his view on anthropogenic global warming and tax code manipulation, than on a story that has been debunked.

Newt’s a sociopath.

I get the feeling he would sell the US and the Constitution down the river for 10 bucks and a roll of Mentos. I have a hard time believing any Republican who objects to Mitt Romney for POTUS would see Newt as more fit on any level. Religious bigotry, maybe?
