Joel Bennett said Thursday his client, Karen Kraushaar, spent several days reaching out to two women whose complaints about Cain’s past inappropriate behavior have been detailed—anonymously—in media accounts.
“Despite diligent efforts, she has not heard from these two women,” Bennett said in a statement.

There have been many times when I have groaned, “Oh Juan!” when he’s been totally wrong on an issue, but the pain is palpable in his face and his entire demeanor on this issue. I do believe he’s a good man, hopefully he’ll come to realize who the real racists are.

Juan is right now going on about something liberal and yet he’s wearing the lovely English poppy ornament that everyone wears on Remembrance Day (Veterans Day) in England. He must have been over there in the last week. And yet he is yammering on about something liberal.

Well, to give away a little secret, I’m a woman myself and don’t get along with most other girls. Why? Cannot take pettiness. I’m one of those who like to hunt, fish, have never worn makeup...prefer to work with men...and am not afraid to speak the truth, which is why most women don’t like me either.
AND...I prefer to go to the bathroom alone :)
I love Cain. God please let him win the nomination!

Certainly would make smart sense, on their part.
No doubt some of these women may have been scared by the Woods lawyer threat. Like you say, if the stakes grow, so will the pressure to come forward.
Don’t know much about Woods beyond Jewell, Ramseys and Condit, its highly likely some bigger gun could show up to stand with them.
It is not a smart move for Cain to expect this thing to just evaporate. He better find a GOOD way to resolve it, NOW.
Cain should sue the lot of them.

Cigar Aficionado had a spread with Anne Archer once. She loves cigars, and there’s something about a woman broad enough to have tried and acquired a taste for cigars.
It’s often the case that men meet women on their terms, and so seldom the reverse. A woman who enjoys a cigar is automatically intriguing.
There was a reason Cain had his attorney preface his remarks at his presser...and it worked.
I’m more into whiskey and highly salted foods than cigars, but my husband smokes them so I understand the allure. I love food fanatics and loathe, absolutely hate food nazis.
Maybe you need to check out the new FR thread showing his poll numbers are slipping across the board. That women’s intuition apparently does not like the way this is being handled.
The lawyer is there to intimidate, not sue anyone for libel. Yep maybe it worked on atemporary basis, but if he get the nom, watch out they will be back this time with bigger guns than just Allred.
