Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich just opened his Manchester, N.H., campaign office moments ago. Gingrich told the volunteers and visitors he would take questions.
“Can you give us a hint of who might be in your Cabinet,” a man shouted from the back of the crowded room of about 200 people.
“Well I’ll give you an example I’m looking for,” Gingrich said. “I believe we have to overhaul the State Department very dramatically. I think we need a secretary of state who is tough-minded and who would represent American interests. I think that Ambassador Bolton represents that kind of person.”

And, as he left the stage, Gingrich implored the crowd not to be for him, but with him, because “we have eight hard years ahead of us!” (The loudest applause and cheers of the evening.)
“I’m not surprised,” Gingrich told Patch following the event. “I think any time I have a chance to present unedited, it’s effective. … This is a pretty sophisticated crowd. They don’t just want a slogan or an opinion; they want to know you can get it done.
Gingrich repeated his call for seven, three-hour-long debates with President Obama. “To be fair, I would agree that he can use a teleprompter,” Gingrich joked. The crowd laughed and applauded. “After all, if you had to spend an entire three-hour debate defending ObamaCare, wouldn’t you want to have the help of a teleprompter?”
When asked about “abortion on demand” Gingrich referred to a policy paper at www.newt.org about the judiciary and “activist” judges.
Everyone needs to come to grips and comprimise some of thier convictions! Everyone has baggage some more than others. We are searching for the Jesus candidate and he’s not out there and doesnot exist. The main objective here is to defeat him and them in November. The big picture is WE need change and we need it in 2012 or 4 more years will be the death of us all.

I think one of the great problems we have in the Republican Party is that we don’t encourage you to be nasty. We encourage you to be neat, obedient, loyal and faithful and all those Boy Scout words, which would be great around a campfire but are lousy in politics.

Surely the President can agree with us, that theft from government is not good. I know it’s bold. It’s out on the edge. I know from a Chicago-Springfield background it’s hard to fully grasp that honesty could be part of government.
