Nebraska 17, Penn State 14; Crowd Chants "We love JoePa."
The New York Times ^ | November 12th, 2011

A last-ditch drive ends in disappointment for Penn State, which loses to Nebraska, 17-14. Not having any timeouts crippled the offense, which completed two passes short of a first down, including one with seconds left, but couldn't stop the clock.

This is a different Saturday in State College. Immediately after McGloin's final pass fell incomplete, the Penn State crowd cheered the team's effort: the cheering grew to a roar as the two teams again met a midfield, such as they did right before the game.

Again, as occurred several times during the game, there were chants of "We love JoePa." Interviewed after the game, interim coach Tom Bradley said that what Penn State has gone through over the last week is "unprecedented in the history of college sports."

Nice to know the fans of the Nittany Lions worship a man who has admitted to protecting a kiddie rapist.

A HOMOSEXUAL rapist of children. Not surprising considering that Penn State is very proud of its support of sodomite deviancy.

Likely unexpected too.

Who knew what, when and who participated in any way? Will this ever come out? The supporters of these NAMBLA-types are just as sick.

What Penn State has gone through? Really?

I wonder if these people will ever get it?

I can’t fathom this. I am not a football fan, but I love art and music, and if the same was suspected of my favorite artist or musician, I would never partake of their product again.

How can being a winning coach TRUMP this most basic lapse of morality and decency?

I guess I am just old-fashioned.

As a CFB fan, the opening scenes were ones to remember for life. Arm-in-Arm coming onto the field, the teams greeting each other solemnly at midfield, then kneeling in prayer together

Wonderful display of sportsmanship and brotherhood God bless them.

Former Prez Spanier (Wife Swapping Studies scholar) should be proud of the things he has done in Happy Gay Valley.

You are not old fashioned. I am a huge Bama fan, but I would be sickened to find out such a thing about anyone in the Bama program. And if Coach Saban ignored such for the sake of the program, I would be done with him.

Yeah, I saw it, the players were kneeling in prayer while the crowd was screaming P-S-U. The crowd’s behavior was totally disrespectful and inappropriate. They have no class. They have no shame.

"We love JoePa."

Pederast University.

The whole University supports buggering children.

“Wonderful display of sportsmanship and brotherhood God bless them.”

It’s called staged managed choreography. It was as spontaeous and heartfelt as an Obama press conference. Those remaining sponsors for PSU needed to cover themselves.

I just saw David Lee Miller on Fox interviewing a “classy” Penn State fan before the game. The fan kept asking Miller if he was a fan of Paterno and when Miller refused to answer the fan told him to “Get the &$%# out of here.” Those folks live in their own little world.
