Parks are being cleared right now. No violence, no "Kent State Moment". The Police sat and waited and when the time was right, they closed the parks. Now they are being cleaned.

Have you heard anything about the crowd from the Eugene area showing up in Portland? They would be the types who would come for the action with the police.

Nothing specific about Eugene.

One idiot from Redding came up last week and threw a Molotov. He's in jail on $1M bail.

Some of the Seattle Anarchists showed up but didn't get to play with the police.

All in all, it was pretty boring for anyone who wanted a fight with the police. The Police didn't give an excuse to make a fight and anyone who was trying to provoke them got bored and went home.

Its over. There was no "Kent State" moment.

Great idea. Jam cell phone calls too. And I would set up a ring of fire trucks with the big monitors/deck-guns and create a permanent rainfall. I bet a few days of that, and the crowd would drop off by 75%. Then move in with the tear gas to mop up the remaining losers.
