“I Wish the MSM would learn the DIFFERENCE between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration and how Conservatives feel about it.

Conservative Position:

PRO LEGAL IMMIGRATION
ANTI ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Inastead the MSM paints Conservatives as being “ANTI IMMIGRATION” and makes no effort to difrentiate. They do this because it furthers their Liberal craptastic agenda.”

I am as conservative as anyone on this board, but if by “legal immigration” you are talking about the 1.5 million ner’-do-well, welfare class currently being allowed into the country annually, count me out. In that case, I am ANTI LEGAL IMMIGRATION.

I’m on-board with letting in limited numbers of people we truly need in this country (inventors, scientists, etc.), but not the masses of third-world semi-literates now being imported.

And I think a lot of other conservatives agree with this.

Fix Illegal Immigration first then we can start to fix the issue with welfare immigrants. :)

But I agree with you, there should be standards for who we allow inot the country, I mean other countries have standards, why can’t we be more like Japan. We don’t wanna be like Europe.

Rubio has hide his pro illegal position until now.

Yep. He said something when he first came on the scene that clearly indicated that he is 100% for illegal immigration.

He sounds conservative, but if he was President he would be 100% pro-Amnesty. This guy speaks a good game but he has ZERO understanding of the evils of illegal immigration.

Well I am an anti-illegal alien voter. Who the hell do they think they are? We have a system for gaining citizenship that has been inexistance for generations and has been followed by millions. They can come legally or go to hell. They don’t even apply for citizenship. If they go through the process legally, I don’t mind at all them coming as long as they learn English and contribute good for our society. But if they want to come illegally to wave Mexican flags, commit crimes, and never learn the language, like I said, to hell with them. They are criminals. If they want to live off the government handouts, I have not one bit of sympathy. Kick them out. Illegal aliens have no allegiance to this country. They never took the oath of citizenship. The phrase illegal alien should actually be “criminal alien” because their first act on coming to the US is to break the law and become criminals simply because they avoid the legal immigration system. As soon as they step foot in this country they are criminals.

Rubio is right. He’s in favor of a comprehensive overhaul, wbicbis what is needed. But instead we have nitwit candidates with no ideas of their own except rabble rousing who suggest electrifying the border fence and putting up a sign in Spanish.if I were Hispanic I wouldn’t even dream of voting GOP after hearing a stupid remark like that.

I guess he doesn’t think that the more than one million new, legal permanent residents the U.S. allows each year, far more than anywhere else in the world, is enough.

It seems like every day, we read something about someone being raped or killed. Day after day after day. I’m just so tired of it. It doesn’t seem like any politician, Republican or Democrat, wants to step up and do the right thing for the Country. Each party wants to cater to a group of ILLEGAL citizens in order to get their vote.

With growing signs that Hispanic voters are turned off to GOP positions on immigration, Sen. Marco Rubio is trying to use his national profile to deliver a message to his party: Tone it down.

No. Maybe instead you and the other Republicans should try considering obeying the law of the land and get on board with causing those not in this country legally to leave one way or the other.

I profess that I don't know a whole lot about this Marco Rubio character out of Florida but saying that concerned and outraged Americans should just "tone it down" to help elct RINO Republicans is the best way to get on my bad side in a heartbeat just as Perry did with his heartless comment and attitude. And I don't forget easily Marco.

And that, and that alone is why Rick Perry will never be President.

Can I get an Amen, brother?!

Only if your state, county, city or precinct allows their vote to count.

Wrong. Congressional districts are a direct result of census counts. No voting necessary.

> Really good point - with illegals counted in the census, the votes of legal voters in that district count for more. What do you think the “legal” voters’ sympathies will be, if they have already created a culture that attracts “illegal” immigrants (like sanctuary cities)?

I believe Candice Miller was the first to bring up some legislation regarding illegals, the census, and congressional apportionment several years ago. It had considerable support but was killed.

Personally I think they do need to be counted to get an accurate idea of how many are here but they need to be excluded from the count when it comes to congressional apportionment.

"The Republican Party should not be labeled as the anti-illegal immigration party..."

Uh.. Okay.
Clearly, Rubio wants OFF the VP list.

Yes, but, you will fix the window or door to prevent the next break-in.

Well, sure... AFTER the scumbag who already broke in is ejected.
