Judge, Occupy Park, but no Camping
Fox News ^ | 11/15/11 | AP

A New York City judge has upheld City Hall's decision to evict protesters from Zuccotti Park, denying a court order issued by attorneys on their behalf, the Associated Press reports.

The eviction began early Tuesday morning when hundreds of police officers in riot gear before raided the New York City park where the Occupy Wall Street protests began, evicting and arresting dozens of protesters from what has become the epicenter of the worldwide movement with other cities, such as Dallas and London likely to follow suit.

Perhaps this is the last word, judicially - perhaps not. There's a lot more liberal activist judges out there.

This just came across the twitter feed. Probably just more huffing and puffing, but you never know. If it’s for real, we’re talking major trouble.

The city made the case that seems pretty solid if you read the judges ruling. Why Bloomberg let this violation of the law continue is an example of why this city has become much more dangerous. The city should keep the heat on this protest until they pack up and head to Obama’s neighborhood. After all he gave them the encouragement and move-on.org is helping to organize this.

Why did the liberal mayors oust the Occupier/scumbags this week?
self | 15 November 2011 | self

Posted on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 7:35:12 AM by Grampa Dave

Why have so many major cities turned on the Occupiers?

The liberal mayors/leaders of Oakland, Portland, New York City and other cities, this week have decided that the Occupier/scumbags are not welcome. Across the nation liberal mayors have sent in cops in their cities , to move the scumbags out of their encampments and tear down their encampments.

So what has happened and why this week?

Did the mayors finally wake and realized that these scumbags were not the 99% of he/she/its in white hats?

Did the merchants in the impacted areas finally convince the mayors that their businesses were being devastated and would not have a lot of sales tax $‘s to give to the cities due to their lost business?

Did the mayors finally listen to Public Health Doctors/Nurses and others that these encampments were huge germ/virus pools that could threaten large sections of the city’s population not involved?

Did the daily rapes/murders/robberies/fights in the encampments finally wake up the mayors?

Did the mayors fear a massive backlash from independent and working democrat voters in their cities or even recalls?

There was probably a lot of the above and other factors that influenced the mayors.

How about another factor. Did the DNC run focus groups of working voters in those cities and find out that the Occupier scumbags in each city were probably costing the Democrats votes across the nation?

Well, something happened, and it probably was not a coincidence, that this week, the left wing mayors of these liberal cities across America, decided to take out the Occupier Garbage, human and infectious garbage.

Okay, but were they told they need to leave at night, or are they still being allowed to stay after the regular park hours? If so, this injunction means nothing.

Well those who show up damned sure won’t be anonymous. They can be jailed, fined, and in worse-case for crimes committed, be sent to prison.

The local news is showing the park re-opening, NYPD checking bags, making announcements of the rules. No camping gear is going to make for a long night for these nitwits.

Hopefully a long COLD night...

My bet - without a tent to hide their keep-warm-and-intoxicated activities inside, they give it all up and go make trouble elsewhere.

Okay, but they are saying no tents or sleeping bags. will the occupiers take that to mean they can bring blankets? it just sounds so vague. Why don’t they say they can come in the day and “protest” but must clear the park, say, after 10:00 p.m.?

I am starting an office pool on OWS hypothermia cases through April 1, 2012. I’ll start the festivities at 65.

All solid points but I think you missed the big one:

The one and only reason this OWS movement is coming to a close is the powers that be were done field testing their strategies and tactics for the upcoming 2012 elections

This was only a test...beep, beep, beep

What worked, what didn’t, who was supportive, who was against it,what social networks cooperated or had issues, how forceful was the response by local authorities, etc, etc.

All this information and Intel will be used in 2012

Good question about the blankets. They are only allowing one entrance so they can limit what goes in. If they enforce the city laws there will probably be more arrests tonight. The park can stay open 24/7 because it’s private but NYPD can be real sticklers on violations. The reporter said the ows plan to stay.
