Enough is Enough, Ms. Bachmann. People who live in glass houses...... (Vanity)

Another FReeper said it best: Michele is always first out of the gate with attacks on the new front-runner.

Exactly! The latest prey of "attack dog" Michele Bachmann is Newt Gingrich; because he is now the front-runner. I fell out with her when she poured salt on Herman Cain's wounds inflicted by the bimbos and Gloria Allred. She managed to get Pawlenty out of the race. She was doing well until she started acting like a desperate housewife. I'm glad GOP Primary voters saw her for the mean-spirited, bimbo she is before the voting started. That's why she's in the low single-digits in the polls.

Not one candidate piled on her when she confused John Wayne (actor) with John Wayne Gacy the pedophile and serial killer. Or when she wished Elvis a "Happy Birtday" on the anniversary of his death. Or when it was revealed her husband's business had received tons of money from the Government. Or when the "Young Turks Network" raised the question about her husband possibly being gay; even ran a video to that effect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2nK1sskUG4

Come on Michele, run on your accomplishments (few there are) and you ideas and plans for bettering America. You are starting to embarass yourself.

okay, i just saw Post #3, so I think you meant the Second part.

Look, go back in my Posting History and see my Thread “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” where I called out the ultra-Palin folks for their vicious assault on Bachmann when she first got into the race, all because she hired Ed Rollins.

Bachmann was my original #1 and I still like her very much and have defended her here against attacks that she lacked experience, was a stalking horse for Romney, etc.

The problems for her campaign occurred after the Ames Straw Poll. When Perry entered, she had a very small window to consolidate her base and shift from strong talking points to substance, before many of them shifted to Perry. She didn’t do it. So, when Perry went up in the polls, she was forced to go after him, but it was ineffective. Case in point, when Perry did start digging himself in a hole, the voters did not return back to Bachmann, but had moved onto Cain.

I continued to defend Michele through September. There’s some stupid picture someone keeps posting where Romney is smooching her at the debate. I simply pointed out that her name was called after Romney, and as each candidate was called to the stage, each one greeted the candidate standing next to them. I left it at that. However, in one of the CNN debates last month, the order called out was Bachmann, Romney, and Perry. Bachmann embraced Romney, but when Perry extended his hand to hers, she pretended to be looking the other way.

When Michele didn’t attack Romney early, I figured her staff’s goal was to clear the field of the Anti-Romneys, then get into a 1-on-1 battle with him. But even when she was at the top or tied for the top, she never really put the gloves on him in the spotlight.

The Bloomberg debate was where I first started getting worried. In the “ask the candidates” segment, Mitt threw Michele a softball question, while Michele continued to attack Rick Perry. Several times she was given the opportunity to go after Romney in the debates, and each time she has declined, the most notable was just this last Saturday, when Pelley gave her a question to respond to one of Romney’s positions, and she declined. However, when given the opportunity to go over Cain or Perry, or even Santorum, she doesn’t seem to have a problem.

Now that Perry’s support went to Cain and some Cain support is fleeing to Gingrich, Team Bachmann has had a hard time finding a strategy to get back the support she previously enjoyed in August, while now running low on cash. I think her staff told her to go soft on Mitt. Remember, those guys are paid political consultants, looking out for the future of their jobs. They know Romney has a weak spot with real conservatives and that if Bachmann can’t get him in a 1on1 primary battle, that she should take a less harsh stance on him and hope she gets a look at for the potential VP spot, if Romney was the lsat man standing.

I hope I’m wrong, but my observations are what I’ve seen so far that lead me to believe what I do. Sorry.

She really tells it straight.

Yes, she does. And some of what she tells really disturbs me. I still can't get over the "Gardasil causes mental retardation" comment. She sure told it straight -- but, wow, was that stupid (or desperate).

Bachmann isn’t even a serious part of this campaign. Ignore her.

I have found Michele Bachmann to be a dishonest opportunist.

And that is so sad. Somebody needs to call her out on her character flaws.

Cain or Newt are my two top choices. There was a day I could have supported Bachmann until she proved to be, as one FReeper called her, “a dishonest opportunist”.

The young turks...shill for the democrats, no credibility...

That’s not the point. When they made a video accusing her husband of being gay, none of the other Republicans jumped in and exploited the defamation of his character. Michele is always the first one to pounce on another contender when they’re laying bleeding and wounded.

to suggest that a candidate for the GOP nomination stop talking just because you don’t share her views is totally inappropriate.

Oh please; have you ever heard of something called "Ethics" (of which she is void)? If you were unfairly slandered and lied on in the work place, accused of embezzeling, and one of your co-workers went to all the other employees insinuating to that you were guilty of the embezzelment, so they could get your position, I guess that would be "appropriate" behavior in your opinion; huh? Shooting the your fellow soldier in battle when he has been wounded is NEVER friggin' appropriate; it's treasonous.
