Taking their protest to a financial center, anti-Wall Street activists swarmed into a San Francisco bank and tried to set up camp in the lobby.

About 100 demonstrators rushed into the Bank of America branch Wednesday, chanting "money for schools and education, not for banks and corporations."

Police in riot gear responded and began cuffing the activists one-by-one as other demonstrators surrounded the building, blocking entrances and exits.

Willow Curless, 63, said she and her husband rode their bicycles from their home in Marin County and watched the protest from outside the bank. "I honor these people in there," she said. "They're making an important statement for the 99 percent."

Those people probably think Monopoly money should be real.

Don’t laugh. One of their demands was everyone be allowed to print their own money...and it be accepted everywhere.

Most of em have no idea what a hard day’s work really is.
They’ve lived sheltered lives and have had everything provided for them.
They probably don’t know the difference between monopoly game money and real money. They’re products of the dumbed-down liberal public education system.
We need to get back to: “you don’t work, ya don’t eat”.

I would agree that most are deserving of a clerk’s job at 7-11 or a gas station attendant. They stand around and want to quote Marx....but they really aren’t deserving anything. As for management skills...I can’t see any of these guys ever get any leadership position except in community affairs...where you really aren’t aren’t leading people.

“money for schools and education, not for banks and corporations.”

Do they have any idea how much money is squandered for schools and colleges already? Maybe they should be protesting the fact that taxpayers have already paid for a first class education for them but they didn’t get it.

“...everyone be allowed to print their own money...and it be accepted everywhere.”

Just like magic, eh?

I’d have a picture of Frank Zappa on the front of mine. The one that shows him sitting on the toilet with the caption, “Phi Zappa Krappa”...it would be a 40 dollar bill printed on brown paper with the musical notation for “Black Napkins” on the reverse.

And whenever I make a purchase with it, I’ll let everyone keep the change!

Well I think the current POTUS would print a three-dollar bill.

The money for schools was squandered on the owners of green corporations.

rather than go to a bank, they should go lynch a green CEO
