I have to disagree with a few names on your list. Bette Davis was breathtaking in all about Eve, and I love watching Burton work.
I’ll give you Ali McGraw for sure. Every time I saw her “act”, I wondered, who the heck is she sleeping with that she got that part?

I have to disagree with a few names on your list. Bette Davis was breathtaking in all about Eve, and I love watching Burton work.My problem with Burton is that he didn't do movies; he did stage acting in the movies.
My problem with Bette is that she didn't do movies; she overdid them.
And I can easily respect that opinions do vary greatly on these two.
