This treason was done on a major scale during the Carter years. CIA op agents were named in liberal news papers like the NY Slimes, Compost and LA Slimes.
One fellow we knew had been with the farm since the end of WWII. He went from the NSG to the farm in one day. His cover for decades was he was with the state dept.. That cover was blown when his name appeared in our left wing media under Carter’s watch.
The agency got him out safely and most of his family. A daughter was working for real in country, and it took a while to get her out. He retired/left the farm after his CIA bio was published in a book. His expertise of setting up covert ops and recruiting locals was gone due to the publicity.
We are amazed how this guy after these events would try to blame what happened to him on Nixon/Reagan unless I was around to clarify when he was exposed and that Carter was the president. I told him, he reminded me of John Kerry lying about Nixon sending him into war, weeks before Nixon became president.
I prefer to call them brain washed instead of idiots. They are brainwashed into believing that their liberal presidents/leaders could never do anything wrong and only the evil republicans do harm to this country.

Carter cut our intelligence to the bone which resulted in the capture of Americans under his watch. Panetta is so busy working on his plan to cut and gut our Defense Dept now...that has been his dream for years. Dems think waterboarding is torture? they have no clue what is or has been done to our agents. Torture is putting it mildly. We need a STRONG Commander in Chief, a strong Sec of Defense and experienced people such as John Bolton as advisors. LTC West should be on the intelligence committee or used as a source of advice. Bachmann is on that very committee....my heart is in my throat as the visual of what our agents endured goes through my mind...butchers from hell
