It is true, Dubya wasted tens of billions of our tax dollars on pseudo-cases of AIDS in Africa, earning a few nods from activists and massive indifference from the whole rest of the world.

I thought Africans had their hands full with Elephant stampedes and hyena attacks.

When did FR become so radically conservative that we would condone being so harsh about former President Bush?
Holy smokes.
I think this is getting ridiculous.

Used to be there was some respect for people.

It’s really rather sad.

Yep. Bush wasted billions of dollars a year on AIDS prevention in Africa. It was used to fund family planning outfits and condom distributors, and the net result was to spread MORE AIDS.

Much of the money was sucked up by gay activists who inevitably run these programs.

And it earned him absolutely no thanks from the gay community, which continued to blame him for the spread of AIDS.

I liked Bush and still do.
Voted for him at least twice. :)
However, he was squishy on the social issues...sorry if that offends some.
He scores a 7.2 in my book.
Had he been a hard nose social conservative he would have easily broke 9.
Reagan was a 9.4.
WhereasCarter was a 1.1, Clinton was a 2.9 and Ibama is a -8.5!

Jorge was really good at traveling here and there “pledging” billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money for this or that. Nothing like borrowing money from the Chicoms for foreign welfare, and handing the ticket to our grandchildren.

That’s big government “conservatism” and let’s make sure we don’t repeat the mistake this time around.

The AIDS Relief plan is part of a national security directive to prevent the emergence of failed states in Africa. Bush is right, you’re wrong.

Dubya: A good, but deeply unwise man.

Karl Rove never tires of reminding us how many books the remarkably inarticulate former president reads, but we never seem to hear any evidence of the knowledge and wisdom books are supposed to impart to their readers coming out of GWB’s mouth.

The Bush presidency marks the beginning of the steepest slide in prestige and prosperity this nation has experienced in over one hundred years, a slide that’s only picked up pace in the Obama years.

Let’s hope it’s not too late to turn it around.

RE :”Bush, former first lady Laura Bush and officials with the George W. Bush Institute are heading to Tanzania, Zambia and Ethiopia from Dec. 1 through Dec. 5, where they'll visit clinics and meet with governmental and health care leaders.

Compassionate conservatism.

I know an immigrant from Ethiopia living and voting here in Maryland. He worships Obama and hates Bush, he says everything bad now is Bush's fault. He is a braindead socialist. His friends agree with him too and he is bringing over lots of relatives. He wont give a crap about this.

Compassionate conservatism. Thanks Bush.
