In case anyone hasn't "got it" yet, if you are not a Government Approved "Minority" (i.e. Asians need not apply), a Communist, a God-hater, or a welfare sucking lout - this Adminstration and every leftist in this nation is literally out to get you.

And then where would the entitlements come from Mr. West?
After a year they would all be starving to death.

I remember when I saw the Matrix sequel, and I hated it. Instead of the "good" land of Zion spoken of in the original, the sequel portrayed it as some sort of Minority Disneyland of pagan screwing, drums welfare for all, and drugs.
Then I discovered the Cornel West was some sort of weird "social conscious advisor" to the movie.

Tell Cornell we’re fine with that—as long as he is out in front in the streets.

Professor West didn't just call for another war on poverty (the first war was fought by Lyndon B. Johnson), but went on to say that the push for more entitlements "is going to be fought in the streets." ... said the rich, spoiled, affirmative-action Ivy League Marxist...

It’s probably about time that Americans kicked some “entitlement” freeloader ass. We’ve carried them long enough. Time for them to get their asses out of the wagon and help push.

Is somebody jealous? Poor kids eat at McDonalds and get fat because Moma is too busy having brother or sister # 6 by Daddy #4.

it's 42% of poor children who live at or near poverty,So get those parents of the poor children off their obese behinds and get them out working. Then instill a work ethic, not an entitlement eithic, into those children.

I hope those followers of Cornhole West don’t take to the street in front of my house or they may find the meaning in that old Texas saying: Some people need to die.
To: SkyPilot
“...they need a war against poverty to make it a major priority in the way which we have a priority...”
Well, la dee friggin’ da.
If memory serves correctly, we have been engaged in “the war on poverty” since LBJ was in office. Yet, we’re still fighting it. Asshats like Cornell West need to be...well, I can’t say what I’m thinking, but you understand my meaning.
We have spent “TRILLIONS” of dollars on this fictitious war, but instead of ridding ourselves of poverty, we have created 3 or 4 generations of welfare families, decimated the “black community”, and created an entire class of people that are dependent upon the DNC, liberal elites, and the monsterous beauracracy known as the US Gubmint.
Where the hell is my monthly check, section 8 housing, EBT card, WIC certificate, and free pound of cheese?! Damnit! I’m starving! /s
