It does kind of make you wonder why Cain’s wife has been in the background, and not out campaigning withhim.

Maybe she did know and didn’t want to be made a fool of.

“Honestly, Gingrich is an imperfect choice, but he is more conservative than either of the Bush’s, and certainly would be better than ObamaRomney”

Good points, and true ones. It is possible too that he might have an axe to grind upon his return too.

Why is it ok for Newt to have multiple affairs

Newt doesn't get a pass from me. Neither does anyone else I might vote for.

“Cain was my last hope. I would not touch any of the others. “

No physical contact required, just hold your nose and vote for the nominee. Simple!

—SHOW SOME BACKBONE, FOLKS!!—

Just a question? How much backbone do you think it takes to, in this economy, leave a VERY well paying career in Seattle, which was my home my entire adult life, to buy and move to a home and small farm in central Kentucky?

Yeah. Think about it.

And choose your battles, as our forefathers did.

Perry had some good stuff to say about his views on the border during local radio interview:
http://www.whoradio.com/pages/simonconway.html

No link there to the interview; it's there if someone wanted to dig. Sorry I'm too lazy.

Not sure what I think of Perry. I'm afraid of him getting destroyed in a debate with O.

I still get back to this point however. We are a nation of close to 300 million people (I think).
We don't have any more compelling candidates than the ones running right now?
Why not? There are good, articulate conservatives out there. Why are none running?

You got that right! The American “news” media is so despicably EVIL and has become so transparent in their mission to proactively destroy every last decent conservative GOP candidate that it makes me wonder if it’s possible to ever elect another Ronald Reagan. Fortunately, fewer and fewer people are paying attention to these left-wing media outlets, but sadly too many folks on our side are quick to throw in the towel and jump ship the moment our candidates start to get smeared by the media.

Just talked to his office

I was told that he is NOT DROPPING OUT!

<><><><

Note that the word ‘is’ is present tense. At the moment you asked he did not drop out, therefore what you were told is 100% true.

LOL. Like they were going to tell you their plans over the phone.

Yes, that’s why Newt is next to last on my list after Ron Paul.

> If you vote for Romney because he’s the Repub nominee, you might as well vote for Obama. It’s as simple as that.

It’s actually worse. Consider a far left bill sponsored by Obama, vs. a far left bill sponsored by Romney.

- The Zer0 one will get fought by ALL the Rs in Congress
- The Romney one will get support from the GOP (except for the rock-ribbed conservatives). And pass.

Amnesty. Extensions of Obamneycare. Capitulation to the ChiComs. Need I go on? They’ll sail through with Romney at the helm. Unless we start working hard NOW to radically change Congress to resist. Much as I hate Zer0 at least the R’s are united in opposing his agenda.

Very hard decisions coming for next November. :-(

I just wante dto say, I read your post on the other thread (that you lined), and I agree. Mostly the chairs are just being shifted on deck at this point. Unless Social Secuirty, for example is completely eradicated, then there will be no change. Socialism doesn’t work. Even if it could be made to work, financially, on paper, the human element doens’t work. The problem is that no one other than Paul and Bachmann, are willing to get up and say “NO! The government WILL NOT take care of you.” Now, both of them have points I disagree with them on on a variety of issues, but I refuse to vote for anyone who says a little socialism is ok “Because you earned it.” As long as Socialism remains protected, God’s providence is ignored (and subsequently, withdrawn).

Note to RNC and the republican establishment:

I’ll only vote for Bachmann or Cain.

They’d better get their support behind Cain and save him.

Remember, establishment, Bachmann or Cain. That’s it.

"Here on FR, usually when people are silent or don’t offer a defense, they are considered guilty."

Here in the real word a loud, absolute denial isn't considered being silent.

The Chicago way.

You got it! The Obama slime machine hard at work (just ask Jack Ryan).

Not only that, but I'll lay odds if you follow the money with any of these bimbos you'll see Soros' slimy hands involved in some form or other.

Oh, they were going to her church all those years when newt was cheating with Callista? Even more sickening.

I would have serious problems voting for newt. I think Obama will beat him.. Sure, g will win a debate, but the media will spin it as an Obama win.

Lol, mark steyn just mocked Herman as running around saying he was happily married for 45 years, didn’t run as Silvio berlusconi. Steyn is so funny but truth in that is real.

Could be. I think the percent of women who have no idea after decades that they are married to men of wild indiscretions (not of course that we have proof re: Cain) is fairly low.
