BREAKING!! Aide: Herman Cain will stay in the race
The State Column ^ | Nov 29, 2011 | Staff

After reports surfaced Tuesday morning that pizza magnate Herman Cain is reassessing his 2012 Republican presidential nomination bid, POLITICO obtained a statement from a Cain campaign spokesman regarding his candidates’ consideration of dropping out of the race.

“Yes,” the campaign spokesman said Tuesday when asked whether Cain would “definitely” remain in the race.

The clarification comes after the National Review Online released statements that Cain made in a conference call with campaign aides Tuesday morning. During the call, Cain made the following statements, “We have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some people’s minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth,” Cain said.

This is shaping up to be the most partisan MSM campaign in history.

Yup. Sadly, we ain't seen nothing yet. The statists are going "all in" for 2012, they don't want to give up the "gains" that they have made. IMO, the days of them waiting patiently while a GOP administration (no matter what type) is in place for a term or two is over. Their agenda is grinding at almost full force now and they don't want to have to back down, not one bit.

We will see the most blatant corruption, lying, cheating, etc. that one could imagine in a US campaign; of course the MSM will be glad to do whatever they need to further the "cause."

What a lovely family. I would be proud to see them in the White House.

..absent any solid reason not to support him, as for me and my house—it’s still Cain!

I'm with Herman, so long as he remains in the race. The latest allegation, just like all the others is DNC-planted bullsheit. A couple things specifically stand out in my mind on this one:

1. Can someone explain how Cain was able to carry on an intimate relationship with this golddigging bitch woman while he was in and out of the hospital fighting for his life against Stage IV liver cancer?

2. Why didn't Ginger ever mention the relationship to even her closest confidantes? Would that not be intimated at SOME point to SOMEONE over the supposed 13-year stretch?

Cain caned himself. Pure and simple in my opinion. Signing a book “Friends are forever. Everything else is a bonus” with 60 plus text/calls to this latest woman in the past few months is tenuous at best in behavior. But, more importantly the judgement to help “financially” a “friend” whose background is suspect is indicative of someone who may surround himself with the wrong people. Sorry, a bit disappointed in the latest news and was just getting over the payoffs to others that claimed harassment. His lawyer’s statement was not on the same page as he was, and that is also disturbing from someone that needs to run a very large ship. I wish we had a clear and conservative choice in this race who conducts themselves in a better way. I know the media rips apart any conservative, but come on now. There has to be someone out there that could jump in.

Bachmann/Santorum are dead in the polls even though I like them

I do too.. and it's unfortunate neither can get some traction beyond the momentary flicker for Bachmann earlier in the campaign.

What I fear is America has inexorably moved too far to the cultural left to ever elect a strong conservative again.

Reminder to watch Herman Cain tomorrow on Neil Cavuto’s program. Fox News Channel at 4:00OM EST; 3:00PM Central; 1:00PM Pacific.

He will answer all questions and talk about moving on with his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination.

Thanks, onyx!

I think it’s great. Herman’s a fighter. And voting for him would be much more palatable for me than voting for illegal loving Newt. Newt, IMO, can go back to his position as VP for Cain. He’d do great in that role.

I also hope Cain investigates the bimbos and their associated minions.

And you people who are tantrumming here, saying you will just stay home and not vote ...YOU are seriously misguided.

We have a marxist in the White House. What do you not understand about that? ANY of these men or women would be far better than what we have now. With a Republican house and Senate, we could possibly right this ship. We can’t do it though, if you decide not to exercise your prized right to vote, purchased and preserved by the blood of American soldiers over all these years, well, I have no words for how I feel about you.

Lots of truths in old adages:

No good deed goes unpunished.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. (or one rejected)

********************************

The behaviour of this latest woman and perhaps one of the others seem somewhat like stalking to me.

From Wikipedia:

Stalking can be defined as the willful and repeated following, watching and/or harassing of another person. Most of the time, the purpose of stalking is to attempt to force a relationship with someone who is unwilling or otherwise unavailable.

Unlike other crimes, which usually involve one act, stalking is a series of actions that occur over a period of time. Although stalking is illegal, some of the actions that can contribute to stalking are initially legal, such as gathering information, calling someone on the phone, sending gifts, emailing or instant messaging.

They become illegal when they breach the legal definition of harassment e.g. an action such as sending a text is not usually illegal, but is illegal when frequently repeated to an unwilling recipient.

Another GOOD one from you, dear Phil!

I despise Karl Rove. He hates Sarah Palin, but at least she smacked him back right across his fat face.

I don’t know what she was trying to pull, but she sure betrayed any friendship she might have had with the Cain’s.

Skank.

I SAID: (NEWTBOTS) None have them have conversed on this thread so far. YOU SAID: Maybe it's because us "Newtbots" don't believe in jumping into threads about other candidates with drive-by flamage. A concept which is clearly unfamiliar to you. I nearly fell out of my chair on that one. Thanks for the laugh.
