Sarah Palin, who decided not to run for the White House and has so far been only a bit player in the race, name dropped Rick Santorum in her assessment of the GOP field, saying that he is the candidate who has been most ideologically consistent and will likely start getting a look from conservative voters.

Hey you don’t have to like her, everyone has a right to their opinion, but the things that you post about her I can read the same thing on the Daily Kos..I thought Republicans are supposed to be more mature then those daily kos freaks. You don’t like her, hey that’s fine by me, but your obsessed with her, you take it to a whole new level. Read the things you post sometimes and think with a clear head if someone who is mentally stable would post something like that

I deny ever having claimed that I was mentally stable.

Fact is that mental stability isn't a requisite factor in having an opinion.

The most assinine, distorted headline I have seen outside of protecting liberals or assaulting conservatism!

Sarah just picked a name out of thin air....nothing more.

Yup, people seem to overreact to virtually every thing she says. Palin can't even have a casual conversation without every tiny thing she says picked apart and blown out of proportion as if it were all part of some grand plan. It's even worse on C4P where they seem to see Sun Tzu like machinations behind every thing she says.

Palin is a political analyst for Fox News. She does political analysis for a living. This is what she has chosen to do. Every time she says something half decent about a candidate it doesn't mean she expects them to rise or surge in the polls. Every time she says something somewhat negative about a candidate, it doesn't mean she is plotting against them. Sarah is not trying to keep the field divided in some scheme to win the nomination through a brokered convention. She is not a candidate in 2012. She is not going to be a candidate in 2012. She is not going to run 3rd party in 2012. Palin WILL endorse the eventual GOP nominee - even if that person is Romney the chameleon. She has made it perfectly clear that getting Hussein out of the White House is an absolute must.

I’m not sure Rick may want that endorsement...

She smiled upon Rick Perry.....he tanked

She smiled upon Herman Cain....he tanked

when your already in the tank there is no where to go but up!

“Totally wrong, she did not smile on anyone.”

She has not endorsed anyone but she DID in fact “Smile” on Cain.

“I’m not saying that Herman Cain is the flavor of the week. I’m one of his biggest fans, and I would never dismiss him or speak negatively about him.” - 9/30/2011 “Freedom Watch, Fox Business Network

“He’s not a politician. I think that’s why I like him so much!...he knows how to make a payroll...glad he’s in the fray!”

And on Perry:
“Sarah Palin praised Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s flat tax plan Thursday evening in an interview on “The Sean Hannity Show” on Fox News.

“Rick Perry — now coming out with, really embracing Steve Forbes’ flat tax idea — that’s going to gain momentum. I look forward to hearing more of the details,” she said. “In fact, when I heard that Rick Perry was embracing of Steve Forbes’ idea, I went into my garage and dug out an old book from 1999 that Steve Forbes had written,” she said. “Many aspects of it make so much sense,” added the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee, who declined to run for president in 2012.”

Again, not an endorsement but yes, she has smiled on them both. Google news and a little research is an amazing thing....

No not a “sanctimonious jerk” just someone consistent, over the course of his career, on his stands. Adamently prolife.

I believe intellectually he could meet or exceed Nootie Patootie in a one on one debate. And he carries NO baggage.

Mark Levin on his radio show just endorsed both Bachmann and Santorum as conservative candidates for President.

He also said he would support and vote for whoever the Republican candidate is, these two above or others running including Romney and Newt. It is more important to get rid of Obama than to go away and not vote (or vote third party).

Speaking of clinging ... I just bought a Ruger LCP .380 Coyote Special edition. She’s a beautiful thang. The original Rick Perry fan gun had “A True Texan” engraved on it, but this one has “Lonestar Coyote Protection” in place of that. It still has the rest of the original engravings though.

One thing I am happy about... And that is that FINALLY, we are beginning to see the Flip Flopper is NOT THE GUY!... that has to be clear! or not?

NEWT?... I like him a hell of a lot more than Romney, but not ready to buy him yet. The guy is smart, I must give him that

Let's take a look a SANTORUM and MICHELLE.... Let's take a good look at them too. Why not?.. I think they DESERVE a shot... a closer look, who knows... ?

CAIN? Sorry, he lost with the "joke" about "Electric Fences" at the Border...

The others?... not electable in my opinion.

Hey, just my opinion.. ok?

Yeah, but when I buy those I ain’t a-tellin’ no one lest they think I have big love for Rick Perry. Maybe I’ll wear ‘em to the next TC shoot.
