Well, heck... everyone knows severed limbs eventually grow back.
If you’re a starfish, anyhow.
Well not everybody is a pessimist. LOL
bet they’d give him free euthanasia for his depression at not getting a wheel chair though.
The way it works here you must need a power chair to get around in your home for Medicare to cover it. You can use it to get around town but wanting to use it that way isn’t reason for Medicare to provide it..
It’s just a fleshwound.
lol
They made the guy depressed and now he’s entitled to free euthanasia
And Americans are supposed to be stupid ....
huh.. sounds much like the letter my wife got from SSD.. Shes type one, has many complications from it, neropathy and fybro. None of them have a cure, and all slowly get worse.
She can’t get out of bed at all some days, others it’s not easy.
But they say her hands still work, so she can work.
watch for more crap like this as obama care comes in to play. They’ll probably send my wife to the death panel, not that I’ll quietly let them off my wife.
I know someone who had their wheelchair stolen a few days ago.
Amazingly example of govt stupidity. However, I wonder if he could buy one of those fancy chairs with his own money.
But,but I thought Sweden was one of the oh-so-perfect countries-—at least that’s what the DUmmies say.
Ofcourse.
The problem in Sweden is three-fold: (1) Officiousness on the part of official government employees, (2) Use of low level bureaucrats to nit pick applications concerning high level problems, and (3) He may be resident in the wrong county ~ see the next article down on the original site.
He could try to appeal the decision, but he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.......
It barely fit, but when she got downtown she could make it across the street before the light turned red.
One day I encountered her in WalMart and she was in a more prosaic electric wheelchair. She said she'd given up her fancy wheels when she retired and now she needed something more appropriate to home use.
From her experience and this gentleman's request I suppose wheelchair bound people KNOW what they can handle even if others can't ~ and it's not just the racing stripes that attracts them to the bigger models.
I guess they think he’s the gecko from GEICO.
I bought my own. I needed something that would fit in the car trunk but still be sturdy enough to take some serious use. Mine breaks down to 4 pieces without tools, works great in town and will handle grassy fields O.K.
