“Anyone who would support Perry is an Idiot, or a Democrat who wants a Republican nominee who can completely collapse in a debate, hurting Republicans down ballot.

Perry should’ve quit after that debate. Now we have to listen to a handful of persistent idiots (or Democrats) backing Perry.”

Well let’s see, Romney’s a lifetime loser (save one Gov election in 2002 in a highly GOP year where he got 49% of the vote) who’s liberal on most issues and inspires zero passion and is a non-starter with 75% of the party, Newt has a history of ‘foot in mouth’ disease and is more than capable of self-destructing, Ron Paul’s a kook, and Bachmann & Santorum are not going anywhere.

I haven’t decided who I’m supporting yet, but given the above facts, I’m glad Perry has stayed in the race and I would by no means count him out. Anyone with any objectivity would have to conclude that his record is more conservative than the two front runners, not to mention he is more than qualified as the chief exec of the 13th largest economy in the world.

I’d say there’s plenty of good reason to consider supporting Perry. Debate flub or not, he’s still got the money and organization to make a run at this. And let’s not forget how fluid this race is. Just a month ago, many around here said nothing could de-rail the ‘Cain Train.’ Fortunes can change very quickly in this race, as we’ve seen already time and again.

Perry is not out of this race in any way. Frankly, I think voters (and the general public) are really tiring of all the dog and pony shows by a couple of the candidates.

It’s really time to get down to the business of removing Barack Hussein Obama from the People’s House in D.C.

Perry appears to be the one true conservative in the Goldwater mold of all the candidates in the race.

Perry got money before he tattooed “I can destroy the Republican Party in 60 seconds” on his chest.

He still has some of it left.

He’s an embarrassment, his supporters are the worst, and have been since they arrived in the summer.

Cain was polling above Perry, why didn’t Perry quit?
