The caller was not talking about a third party candidacy.

Rush got it perfectly well and explained it just as well.......

Rush pointed out to the caller that the Libertarian party is a third party and Ron Paul is a Libertarian who knows they don't have a snowball's chance in hell which is why he's trying to run as a Repub..........

"I listened to Rush today as usual. He ranted....Levin ranted today too,... Today, everything sounds frantic and desperate. Maybe just an off day."

I wonder if it has anything to do with the improving poll numbers of a certain candidate?

Can you imagine how berserk some people will become if Ron Paul gets the nomination?

That is when we will see who is on our side and who is for the status quo.

There is a lot to recommend Ron Paul and he would clearly be much better than Obama. But he’s got a few notions that seem just a bit goofy.

She’s absolutely right about Newt, however. There isn’t much difference between him and Romney.

“Here's another one who doesn't understand what the Tea Party is all about.”

WRONG! I've been to a lot of Tea Party events and meetings and even been part of a Tea Party candidate election in 2010. Ron Paul's cult fringe are NOT Tea Party. Paulbots are fringe libertarians trying to be part of something because their own party is not accepted by mainstream America. Ron Paul is the street corner crazy spewing nonsense that everyone walks across the street to avoid.

Tea Party does not accept vile newsletters like Ron Paul's. Tea Party does not think Iran and North Korea are no threat. Tea Party do not undermine Israel. Tea Party does not blame the US for 9-11 or pander to the Truthers. Tea Party does not have candidates who frequent fringe conspiracy nut shows. Ron Paul is one of Obama's greatest assets in 2012 because he undermines serious candidates who can defeat Obama.

I'd write in Sarah Palin before I'd pull the lever for that surrender monkey.

But Ron Paul's foreign policy, there's nobody, no other Republican running on that nomination dais up there in any of these debates that has a foreign policy that's anywhere near Ron Paul's.

Rush is right on that point. Except for the empty rhetoric they employ almost all the GOP candidates have the exact same Globalist foreign policy as the Obama Maladministration which is a seamless continuation of the policy from the Bush\Clinton\Bush years.

What part is “laughable?” Can you communicate?

“We in the Tea Party - we who are “Taxed Enough Already” - oppose government growth, increasing interference in our daily lives, the bailouts and ObamaCare.

“However, we are the Conservative base of the Republican Party and we believe in defense as a legitimate purpose of the Federal government. We are happy to take the war to the home town of the terrorists, to keep them busy outside our own Continent.”

However, we are the Conservative base of the Republican Party and we believe in defense as a legitimate purpose of the Federal government.

They won't even protect or secure your own freaking borders while at the same time the fed gov grew into all controlling monster.

Now ya say the Tea Party is all about protecting these corrupt foreign policies and costly *decades* long compassionate wars?

Just laughable.

Who is “they,” dragnet2? “They” do not include me and “they” do not include “the Conservative base of the Republican Party.”

You have completely re-framed what I wrote to fit your own narrow protectionist world view.

What you wrote is the direct opposite of “We are the Conservative base of the Republican Party and we believe in defense as a legitimate purpose of the Federal government.”

*We* have been working to yank the Party to the Right.

Oh, dream on.

You guys can swarm and spam polls from here to 2012, but our country hasn't become insane enough to do something that stupid.

"our country hasn't become insane enough to do something that stupid."

Au contraire! This country is stupid enough to elect an undocumented communist with no executive experience.

Never underestimate the utter stupidity of the voters in this country.
