We should NEVER forget NEVER.
We were defeated that day. Out entire Navy was destroyed with that raid.
Without the help of Almighty God we would all be speaking Japanese right now.
Everybody in this country pitched in and got to work building ships & planes and with GODS help were able to beat them.
I get so damn mad every time I hear somebody say we were wrong to drop the Atomic Bombs. Excuse ME? Hit me first for no reason, and I then have free reign to beat the living tar out of you, and I will do whatever I need to to make sure you never do it again. If it means I have to bring in ole Betsy, my trusted 12 GA then so be it ole Betsy comes out.

Out (sic) entire Navy was destroyed with that raid.

Hardly. None of our aircraft carriers were even present, and they would inflict irreversible damage to the Japanese Navy a scant 6 months later at Midway.

I agree that we should never forget.

Not even close. And the key part, the carriers, was not touched.

Without the help of Almighty God we would all be speaking Japanese right now.

Impossible. Even the guy that planned the attack on Pearl insisted that invading the US was impossible.

Everybody in this country pitched in and got to work building ships & planes and with GODS help were able to beat them.

Yeah but this was not all AFTER the attack. We started work on enough new ships to replace the whole fleet in the two years before the attack.

? Hit me first for no reason,?

It was not exactly 'no reason'. We knew war was coming from a long way off. If you follow the '70 years ago real time' thread you will see that everyone that was paying any attention at the time KNEW an attack was coming and war with Japan was imminent. They only did not know where the attack would come and how bad it would be. We knew it would be soon and somewhere. Our sanctions were crippling them. They were not going to give up their aggression in the south so they had to attack to gain resources. Don't take my word for it.
