Sexual deviance, regardless of its truth, has already brought down Herman Cain. But Newt Gingrich is so far holding up stronger than his fallen rival. However now an ‘ex-mistress’ has told the National Enquirer that the GOP presidential candidate, who cheated on two previous wives, is a ‘hypocrite'.

Anne Manning claims she performed a sex act on him in his Washington.

Does potted plant have a website? Do they take paypal?

Can you imagine... what a great candidate! No more speeches. No more golf or vacations. No more press conferences. No executive orders. Just sits in a window in the Oval Office. Ultimate gridlock.

No offense to those who are Newt fans, but why do these powerful people think they can run for president after major character issues? They know the media WILL bring it out AFTER the primary to help Obama. Do these guys have a god complex, thinking they can be elected even though they live lives that most people abhor. Yes, I know the media will attack no matter what, but we know there are good people out there to run who don't have the problems our nominees have. Every candidate should come clean before entering the race on anything they have done that WILL come out after the primary. If the GOP has info on these candidates, why now ask them NOW, so we can make a fully informed choice. The GOP is asking for a third party to step in. If we end up with Romney or a damaged candidate I look for Sarah to go Independent or to start a Conservative party. I am tired of the the same old thing. GOP tries to stifle the conservatives, not giving them leadership roles and doing things to appease the left. If we end up losing it's because of arrogant, selfish and ignorant leaders and candidates.

“Herman’s campaign was completely inept in how it responded to the smears. I expect that Newt will respond clearly”

Well, I count 3 Newt implosions in recent history vs. only one for Herman Cain.

Now that the media will be distracted trashing Newt, Cain should consider reactivating his campaign.

I’m with you.

AND Palin also.

It’s clear Romney is behind all the sliming. How about Gingrich, Cain and Palin get back in, and gang up on Romney.

At the Trump debate.

I dont care if Newt is snorting blow off a hookers ass, he will still be a better president than Odumbo.

As would the hooker off whose ass Newt would be snorting blow, most likely.

I probably was not clear. I will NOT vote for Romney no matter what. Romney or a damaged candidate will cause a third party to rise up so conservatives have someone to vote for.

“it was 1997 not 1977”

You are talking about the NRA woman who was sensitive about her height.

The last and final scandal was about a made up affair that supposedly happened earlier.

You've just responded exactly the way you were expected to respond.

What kind of dizzy, upside down logic is that? If you want morality in your candidate, you are playing right into their hands?

I give up. It's over. The world has gone nutz.

Cain went to the rally not even planning to end it on Saturday, but on the way he received a phone call that there were death threats against his grandchildren. That was the final straw.

It was not about Gloria as many had thought, she didn’t buy these allegations and had just launched the Women for Cain the day before (it was her idea too)

At this point all our candidates are damaged.

All humans are imperfect.

We have an election to win. Let’s win it.

Wrong. After 2 weeks of sexual allegations splashed on the tv screen 24/7, Cain was back to single digits.

It was that last bimbo, Ginger whatever who did Cain in. Yeah, he was dropping from the others; but Ginger was the SHTF moment. Cain easily blew off the other allegations. Bialek was discredited early, and the other woman would not come forward with her story. Once Ginger came out, things got awkward. We heard that Cain had been giving her money, that his wife didn't know about her, etc.

I think with Ginger, people started thinking there was a "there" there.

Yeah, we do want morality, but let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

And you would think Free Republic would be the place to come to for some basic conservative values. But nope. You see the comments above about snorting coke off a hooker's butt? Those people are serious. And we are just sanctimonius hypocrites with a holier-than-thou attitude if we protest.
